I love Elite, but this is the reason why I play only in solo mode. After few times being ganged but [always] 4 players I don't enjoy running away all every time. And some people just have to prove they are better. So as much I liked PvP in EVE, here I just enjoy flying. Still, for 8 units of grain... I salut you :)

Isn't this kinda the point of the game it's a space simulator after all and pirates just have to be there but then again whatever you like I guess

They are playing the role of pirates. Piracy is about dominance not fairness. You don't need to run away, you can just give up some cargo and that will be you for the rest of the day. But if you prefer solo then just play the game the way you like it.

Looks like very much fun. But a very steep learning curve. How would I even start playing this game? How many career resets before you start learning the interdiction mechanics and strategies?

An annoying tactic you can try is to just head out into the middle of nowhere and fly, for, example, up and out of the main orbital plane, and come in from some extremely weird angle. Or if you want to be extra annoying, just keep going out for a very long time, high wake out, and force them to waste time yourself. Yeah it's a bit of a douche move, but so what? xP

Who knows… I have 10.5b showing as assists on INARA but over the years I will have spent more I am sure. My tips for trading builds is simple, don’t be greedy with a shieldless build, it needs to be able to take more than one shot. I remember getting my drives shot out by an Eagle NPC!!! I was in a slow T9 but it just shows that it’s not just PvP that needs a decent build. Sorry, you didn’t ask about builds but I am easily distracted 😆

Hey Deavo just got elite dangerous and Started playing literally yesterday. I also make content but its For MechWarrior Online. However im thinking of Getting into this game. You were the first video thumbnail i saw that intrigued me. And since im also an underdog Content creator id rather support our kind rather than the big guys. Anyways I don't know anything about the game and just began so I'm sure I'll come back and Ask You some questions or tips. Keep it up

PvP Piracy isnt about money. It's about role playing and creating a different type of player interaction that doesn't necessarily end in pvp and isn't ganking.

It's about having fun. If all I wanted to do in game was make money, I'd be in mahlanja every time I logged on and would run trade missions until I turned the game off. Why play games when you could work IRL and make real money. Games are supposed to be fun and some people enjoy the chase of pvp piracy.

the game is boring af apart from the awesome framework. there is nothing to do of any substantial value in terms of fun, so people start to create their own fun. game is empty and idk what the devs have been doing for the last half a decade, at this point, (and i never thought there would be a day where i say this, because it seemed like a scam) but star citizen, minus all the half baked stuff and the major issues like bugs and performance, at the time of writing this, has more things and more fun things to do than E:D. crazy times we live in.
