Military Grade Composite Armor, 6C bi-weave shields, all other internals are hull reinforcements. Heavy Duty mods on all armor items. Basically, tank the ship as much as possible. Thrusters are 7A Grade V dirty drives with drag drives experimental. Three medium reverb cascade torpedo racks (6 torpedoes total) on the bottom hardpoints, and two high capacity packhound missile racks w/ drag munitions on the top hardpoints. That's the important parts. Even the Power Distributor is not critical, you saw how I was flying with a fixed distributor. When the packs run out, a solid ram will knock 5-10% hull off an enemy ship, while the Beluga only takes 3-4% hull damage per ram.

I wouldn't use pack hounds as primary weapons ever. I'd use them as supporting firepower. Something to distract and annoy the enemy. Otherwise they don't have the DPS for a good solo weapon.

What the hell was killing your shields on the last battle? Ship impact? I didn't see him (or her, Zim, zer, ms, ma'am, unk, etc) actually fire anything at you. Great video tho. Maybe drop some tips on how to afford an a-rated engineered battle beluga.

I only have like 150 mj of shields, so I don't pay much attention to them. By the last battle, did you mean the one against the FDL? Because he was firing plasma volleys that were hard to spot until the last second. I also kept hitting myself with 2 or 3 of my own missiles per volley I launched, because the Beluga is just so girthy when turnfighting. When it comes to affording it, I do NOT recommend you focus all your time and effort on a battle beluga. The damn thing is a 200 million credit meme. It's really a terrible PvP ship, and rarely is able to kill anything unless I manage to disable their thrusters (hence why I was targeting them). But hey, if you're hellbent on memeing your way across the galaxy, try sightseeing missions from Robigo to Ceos.

@@mobiuscoreindustries I have not checked. But the current gold rush is through Void Opal deep core mining. Someone filled up a Cutter with Opals and sold them for over 1 billion credit profit. So a normal haul would fetch around 100 million.

It's not a great combat ship. This is HEAVILY engineered. I have nothing but shields and armor equipped. A hybrid passenger/combat beluga would get clapped by any NPC.

A handful of medium reverb cascade torpedo pylons, a couple of packhound missile racks, 7A Grade V Dirty drive thrusters, grade V heavy duty reactive composite armor, then fill the entire ship with grade V heavy duty hull reinforcements... And that's about it. 414 boost, 6800 hull armor.
