As a fan of the Cobra 4 and a _huge_ fan of dumbfire missiles, I see this as a perfect build. Meme builds like this are why ship building is actually my favorite part of this game (and why my module storage is always overflowing). Screw standard beams and multis.

Dumbfires are so underrated. Knew a guy who ran 3 dumbfires on the smalls on his Chieftain. If he dropped your shields, it was all over - a couple barrages on target and your modules were toast

I have a Challenger with 1 L and 1 M plasma, then the other 5 hardpoints are dumbfires. It is silly how quickly it can disable a ship.

So an other point for me to think ahead and already have point defence on some of my ships. Althrough, I dont think two point defence, which I have on my Covette, is enough to completely protect me from so many missiles

They're useless, just run more boosters. Earlier I blew up a DBX that had dual PD and I didn't notice a single missile getting popped by them.

@@CrimsonGamer99 Really? The few times I recall having them active and fighting against the NPCs they did, often from the system police, begin to intercept the missiles. But I will take it into an account. I do know with the ammount of missiles you have, they will get through

@@Neo-vz8nh I have ECM on my AspE, but I never really been good to use it (I also have a point defence on my AspE) I know I need to charge it, but it is more down to timing. Which to be honest, I dont think I would have the brain power to manage while in stress of fighting

@@Danspy501st Yea, I also hate the ECM. Never really used it as it is inferior to the point defense in almost every aspect. But in this niche case, it is better, as it one shots the torpedo while the point defense usally not enough.

adv missile racks can also be engineered which crimson did and they have heaps more ammo than normal racks

Because advanced missile racks _can_ be engineered and the smalls hold four times the ammo compared to their standard counterparts. 144 missiles on one small hardpoint.

@@unpotatoedsalmon Elite's been out for 10 years. The "I got ganked and lost all my data :(" story is well known. If you're still hauling months of work around, in open, in the most populated system in the game, in an unarmored barn that says "shoot me" on the side, you only have yourself to blame at that point. Go to solo, pick literally any system other than Shinrarta, and/or put a couple hull refs on your ship. I hate getting merc'd for no reason as much as the next guy, but this is the equivalent of driving through Compton in a convertible with your wallet in the passenger seat. No shit, it's _gonna_ get stolen.

I don't know why the Anaconda player didn't bug out when the battle was going badly?! 😯😂🩲 . A Cobra couldn't have mass locked them! 😯😂 . While I don't engage in PvP, I am something of a veteran against NPCs, but even against them, I bug out pretty quickly once my shield banks are all gone and I'm about to or have lost my shields! I normally get away with zero hull damage, with the worst damage I have ever taken being going down to around 80% hull, when I stayed too long (once), while indeed I haven't died in the game in the more than three years I've been flying an Anaconda as my main ship! - they stayed beyond the point of sanity and were punished for it! 😯

One of the missiles had an FSD interrupt experimental, which rebooted his frameshift drive. On rapid fires, they keep someone stuck with me basically indefinitely. No escape :)

@@tanner1ie nope, there's no counter for them. And these are the kirkland brand ones. The good ones are Yuri Grom's powerplay weapon, the rocket propelled FSD disruptor. Slap the funny experimental on that for what is commonly known as a "Grom bomb", which reboots your FSD for 8 seconds. Per hit.
