So having high grade thermal vent beam is very important i suppose. Mine was only grade 2 or three and I couldnt keep the heat low enough to avoid agro when attacking the core. Had to return to the megaship every one or two runs to repair and rearm

it all depends on your PP and your ship's overall heat with fitting all the stuff in like shields. Notice that firing one torp spikes the heat up by 10% (in addition to boosting heat) so you have to either cool down with the beam or constantly pop a heatsink and resynth.

Great video, first time I've seen one showing the attack runs in VR. I also never seem to find low numbers of Goids around the Titan when I go, just unlucky on my part I guess. Just a quick tip, if you bookmark your Carrier you'll find it easier to locate quickly, you didn't appear to have yours marked. o7 Cmdr. Looking forward to the fall of Thor.

The video is shaky and vibrating, is this in real headset the same?

No. It feels so normal inside the headset - someone suggested that I should've applied some kind of smoothing post-processing to the video. I didn't know that that was a thing.

I've been out in the black and haven't been able to experience this. My gosh that fsd overcharge looks handy. Where can I get me one of those? Edit: also curious what your voice readout system/ program is. I use observatory to readout interesting scan results while exploring, but it doesn't give info like you're getting on arriving in a system.

@@ConnorLinley o7 cmdr. You can get any of those FSDs with SCO from any station found on inara. So if you have access to shin, then Jameson Memorial has all the classes and ratings. They transcend even the pre-engineered FSDs. For the voice readout I use EDDI - free to install and use.

How do you manage your controls while wearing the headset?

for the hotas, it's muscle memory. For the keyboard (searching and chatting) I use the virtual one - pain in the neck but works.

How is the quality within the headset? Is it blurry or pixilated

well, the day I unboxed it, I noticed significant frame drops and low quality performance in general. My rig is a high end though, but I figured it was the link cable. I purchased a high-speed one and increased the graphics quality to the max on the PC Quest software and after that, I found no issues except that the battery drains in 2-3 hrs.
