Axle to Axle 35", Brace Height 6.8", Weight 4.8, Draw Length 24.5-30". I test the new Elite 2025 Exalt. I shoot the Exalt at 18m. I discuss how the Exalt compares to other Elite bows and other bow on the market.

Agree 100% on how easy Elite's are to aim, even the older Elites. I find I can hold the pin on target much easier than any other bow I have or have owned. With regard to cable or limb stops my target/3D bows have cable stops and I find they work well but for hunting I find when the adrenalin is pumping my form can sometimes break down resulting in me pulling harder into the wall which can result in a poor shot. For this reason I only use Elites with limb stops for hunting, I find they give me much better results. Really enjoy your videos Steve, your advice is always spot on.

Agreed limb stops give my best results. I am a tension shooter. I just pull thru on my thumb button with no movement of thumb or fingers. The built up pressure finally fires it.

Elite make great bows. Love my omnia, and i feel like they are a little more honest about their arrow speeds than other companies.

Do you remember when you reviewed the Elite Ritual 33? “ I love love love “ this bow you said like 10 times. The easiest drawing shooting bow you ever picked up. So smooth. So easy. Holds so steady. Dead in the hand after the shot. I still use mine for hunting. 👍👍

I could not agree more on poundage adjustability. I am looking to buy a new compound bow and Elite is at the top of my list. If they made one with a 15# range I would buy it tomorrow. I currently shoot a 60# Mathews cranked down to 53# so I am left getting a 60# bow and doing the same or getting one that is 40/50 and having one that is too light. A 15# range would solve the problem and I suspect I am not the only one who feels this way. I am between Bowtech and Elite right now and being able to adjust the feel of the valley is a very big plus in my mind !! Curious....I like the longer ATA of the Verdict. As far as adjustability goes, how does the Verdict compare to the Exalt? Being able to adjust the feel of the valley is a huge plus for me. Can you do the same with the Verdict? Excellent review sir !!

why not put the chart ON the bow? I wanted an Elite years ago but dealers were scarce near me. That has changed. Such a nice bow and I love not needing a press. Seems the review was cut short? I may have to save up... Great review, thank you sir.

I was all excited to tune my elite ethos 75# and my guess on arrow build and initial set up turned out to shoot perfect bulletholes with bare shafts grouping with fletched out to 40yrds, S.E.T. technology was completely unnecessary 😅

When they drop the longer draw version i might pull the pin on this bow. The Ethos is great but at 31” draw the string angle is a bit tighter than i like.

I am a dealer for them. Looking HARD at this bow for myself. They are coming out with legs to work with the picatinny mount.

The one thing I think Elite could do is put indicators on the SET feature to show where the neutral/starting point is

I really like the shape of the cam you will notice a lot of the times if you got a cam that is more shaped like an egg that back wall is going to be horrifying when you drop through the valley that's the reason why I don't shoot Matthews just keep it real because that big drop into that back wall that Valley is so harsh I like it to draw from the start to the Finish linear no drop into that back wall

Yeah but the thing is when you start to mess with that limb bolt link I feel like you do start to put some slob in the system because the strings are built in a certain spec the limbs are built at a certain spec the Riser everything is revolving around each other and if you start losing limbs off to where they're a half inch away from that Riser I feel like it really affects the whole system therefore the slob runs out into the string pretty much and then what affects the arrow but the string and maybe I'm wrong you know but I just feel that way

Oh I have to shoot this and you can get it in 75 lb I don't know if anything could compare to that BowTech SS 34 that I have so that son of a gun right there it's 2023 model I believe and is an absolute pounder

Please! You know BowTechs limbs lock down! You’ve said so yourself! You know that if you don’t loosen the limb locking bolts that the limb bolt would just come all the way out! Scary! That’s the same thing you said about adjusting the Bow Tech! Come’on Stephen you’re obviously an Elite homer! Picaninny?!? Picatinny!!! You should prepare better!

What's the advantage of modules vs the adjustment screws?
@liamboyle9199
@liamboyle9199 Ай бұрын
When you make a module per draw length you can optimise that module which relates to in theory better speed and consistency of the draw cycle across the range. So any module with rotation is a sacrifice at some point, typically the middle is pretty good, the long end gets a bit more dumpy into the valley and the short end can be more aggressive (don't quote me, I could be wrong but I think that is the general rule). Mybo, UK company, do a mixture of both. They know a fixed module is good and bad, so they have 3 modules per cam and it has limited adjustment. That way they can to an extent guarantee each module feels good no matter where you place it in the range.

fancy box=expensive trash. Every video trashes Mathews. You are right about adjustability but just dont mention them. Just cover the adjustability of the other bows. I am curious the difference in the bows that are adjustable, sure each has its own methods, capabilities, and quirks. Love the videos, really, but they are getting (a bit) regularly negative.

You can't have a bow that drops that lower than 10lbs because you will get a tone of string slap and possibly derail the bow. Its also not as accurate. It will shoot sloppy and not keep a tune very well. Some kids bows can do that but for them it doesn't really matter.
