Elite Galaxy Tank Build - Star Trek Online

In this video i go over my elite Sirius tank, i talk over how the build works and where everything comes from, also how this build is over design for more damage and isn't quite made for some high damage in content. This build will be more then enough for most of the content of groups you'll ever be in.

Sheesh Nic! I had all of this stuff anyway, so I put it together, copying everything. Ran an ISE, got 331k DPS AND 90% Dmg/In and 94% Atks/In That's insane!

Another great vid. Looking forward to getting this ship when the sale for the 13th starts. If we can’t get Ba’ul weapons, what would be a good sub for them? Every vid I watch it’s DPRM. Really wish I had got the Atlas on last year’s Campaign now. Always this year mind you. I like how Nic takes the time to explain why he picks what he does and where you can pick up the kit.

There are alternatives to not running dprm, like for this build you might just see what other defensive clicky you have an run that instead if the atlas is a bit too pricey

Sure wish i could afford the DPRM for my main for survivability. Never had any difficulty staying alive without it on my tanking build though. The Valdore console alone is enough to keep my shields up most of the time and when they fail, i can stack DR so high with various means i rarely ever drop below 50% hull with PLOT armor. Plus, with the Darmok and Jalad trait and console from the Tamarian cruiser + full Ba'ul FAW loadout, Unstable Warp Bubble and perhaps support frigate pets for Suppression Barrage 3, reducing the enemies damage output by 75%-80%+ permanently is no problem. Dont even need a command ship for it. What is a bit of a problem on such builds is getting your DPS high enough.

I was never into tanking, I've been doing DPS and EPG builds, but after watching your videos since you started your youtube channel, I decided to make a tank that can do the elite TFO's,had such a fun time i made 4 of my DPS toons into tanks😂since I'm a novice in tanking should I use the Pahvo Space Set and the Ahwahnee console on my tank builds? Thanks for getting me into a new play style. I never knew it could be this much fun. Keep up the great work, Nic👍🏽

For general tanking purposes I’d probably stay with the ba’ul omni, but if you want some more damage output for random elites I’d swap over to the pahvon Omni, and I wouldn’t bother with the console on tank builds

If it was my tank i wouldn't run either, but everyones build is slightly different, i generally lean towards the heavier tanks when using them for random elites, since i like to take barely any damage, For random elites running the Pahvon Omni might be nice for the extra damage it provides.

i personnaly like to run the Tholian Jorogumo Carrier Starship trait ! this allow me to use the Subsystem targeting tactical bridge officer abilities which triger FAW with a +100 accuracy ( which Counter the -50 acc penality FAW ) , and subsystem target have 15sec global cooldown rather than 20 sec of faw ! which is kinda a trait extender to FAW ,, and best part is you can use : Targeting weapon system drains the weapon power of enemy and thus they deal less damage ( more tanking :D) or use Shield weapon system Drains shield power which means (increased damage to shields) and thus you are buffing allies damage( support tank) , i hope you can make a tanking video with this starship trait and the unique original Command battlecruisers ( with attract fire and +15% crtD BC Mastery special).
