I figured I’d give this build a test, I’ve never actually ran any sort of PfE build or blue striker outside of PvP. I chose DUA just because it’s the easy/fastest. I also did make one change, I went with Firewall instead of survivalist because DUA is closer range than TB/Zoo & the Firewall shield buff is real strong. It took me a little less than double the amount of time to finish (compared to a ND build I usually run on Legendary), however, I didn’t even come close to dying one time nor did I use any armour kits. The majority of the reason for the longer completion was the DUA boss, I’d probably recommend swapping a couple blue cores to red, he’s not much of a threat if you just keep tossing the decoy to get LOS at his backpack and stay away from him for when he activates that banshee pulse from hell. I had to run back and get more ammo 3 times I believe, and that’s risky because if he blocks you in there, it’s over. I’d probably swap to 3 red/3 blue if you can safely do it without him coming up on you. But for the rest of the mission, it wasn’t really any issue running those blue cores, Striker still slaps hard. Global event was deactivated to get a proper assessment. All in all, nice simple build that is definitely solid for people looking to clear their first Legendaries. I’m tired of seeing KZbinrs tell people to run 6 reds/Glass Cannon/etc when they are playing solo & don’t have any clears yet on Legendary. So this is refreshing content. Well done man.

If you are solo, you might want to disable the "Distributed Repair" talent in the Survivalist specialisation ( 4:08 top far right, next to PFE ) as it makes no sense for solo Survivalists, but becomes rather a handicap as armour kits now only repair over (endless) 5 sec instead of instantly. You certainly can't want the malus for the actual talent to be able to distribute your repairs to party members when there is no such party member but yourself (unless you wanted to make things harder than they need to be, of course). Just mark it and hold F for "Respec Element". That's it. Then your Armour Kits will work normally again, and instantly when you need them most.

Never even thought about the fact that we could actually turn that “perk” off, good thinking. You’re right, I rarely touch Survivalist because the armour kit solo can get you killed very easily.

You just reminded me why this is my least favourite Legendary mission; the insane number of spawns. I can do DUA or Capitol 5 times a day but this one and Manning feel like a chore

You are absolutely right, and that's why it took me this long to get it done because I just get annoyed everytime I tried before. Way too many and unnecessary npcs spawn. But this last part of this mission I actually enjoyed it.

First of all your great, just a tip though, when I do it legendary, I open the door where the gun case is. That way I have sort of a safe haven. Just a thought. I run all the way to the back on the left side, get in the back room open the door and fight most of it from there.

for the arena (or the other rooms too if you like) check out toasty's tutorial on solo legendary-ing the tidal basin. he points out the very useful insight that if you ran up and shot at the pressure pads with a silenced gun the enemies will not notice. he also shows how you can knock out the 2 on the sides of them in this way and leaving the last one for when the spawns are done.

Ah, look who's talking, Mr Dunning-Kruger! You're mission designer with Massive, eh? Just a rhetorical question. 🤡 You? Very. Very. Wrong. Mate. All those legendary missions are handcrafted, it's not just Black Tusk re-painted white, adding umpty-ump health and armour and damage output, throw in a few drone and dog spams, and they're done. 🤦🏼‍♂You should follow TD2 Twitch news more regularly, then you might stumble into an impromptu interview with the creative director explaining it in detail. The effort that goes into the legendary missions (which are NOT just another difficulty level like the others) is why there are only a few of them to begin with, and why there will never be a global difficulty level like the other mission difficulty levels, since the legendary missions are designed and work completely differently from the rest. So you better stop telling anybody, including those who are employed by Massive/Ubisoft as experts and do actually design and programme these missions and have the actual knowledge, what they supposedly just had to do to create a legendary mission. Unless you were one of them. Are you? (Don't bother, I don' really want to "know" anything from you). I highly doubt it. It's more like you know squat about how these missions work, but yet you form an opinion about it, which is the definition of stupidity per se, since you of all people should know first of all that you really know zilch about the subject matter. It is a widespread misconception that people had a free right to have an opinion. No, they don't. Nowhere on planet earth is there such a cretinous right, it's just that eejits arrogate to themselves the right to form an opinion on anything based on nothing or at best on their even more dangerous " semi-knowledge" aka prejudice. The right with which the eejits confuse their imaginary right to opinions is called freedom of expression, freedom of the press. Huge difference! Congrats on soloing this mission and nice build! but definitely need the weapons at level 25 expertise otherwise its not really doable especially when they all come at you. I can get through to the third room no problem, but once I open up the door, just not enough firepower to taker down the Gungas and rushers before they come through and circle you.

How many dps is the average legend npc? Less than 15million or more? I want to try a tankbuild with the hotshot set, and wondering if it can one shot legends.

I believe 20 million per shot on sniper could 1 shot most of them, but the highest health I have seen so far is the elite robot mini-tanks (not the dogs) you need exactly 30+ million to 1 shot one of them. I know because I ran legendary solo with my sniper hotshot build

I can honestly say that you are 1 year late to the party with this build. Change to Ouroborus and you will see how much better it is. My PTS video has demonstrated that. You can carry 3 noobs in any legendary easily. But now (since is public)...more will compete for the Memento trophies. But this build is the only one that you need... nothing else !

@@samsungali66 if you have the Ouroborus, is the same build as in the video. The difference you will feel it in the close range combat because you can benefit from the Memento's trophy. If you don't have it (or the chill out mask), make an improvised piece so you can add the 4th protection from elites mod. Play with Scorpio shotgun and make sure you are above 50% CHC. This one is also hitting like a truck.

I dont have the chill out mask either. Tried with bellstone for 1% armor regen but i like to use the fenris mask more, with hazard prot and crit chance. it depends what you like i guess but i did not do "enough" damage without the fenris mask so i use it. i should say tho that i have not managed to clear any legendary stronghols solo yet, but im trying.

I made this build along time ago its very good got the damage and the right amount of pfe very tank but I put this build away because instead of running the chill out mask I run the perfect unbreakable instead not as tankier than the chill out version but incase I mess up the unbreakable give me another chance

I get this question a lot and the answer is truly could be anywhere because I have gotten multiple of them dropped from loot or caches. I made a video for best ways to farm exotics, check it out but basically Countdown is your best option

The first Exotic cache I ever opened was an Elmo's. Another guy joined my clan, and we were running together. He had just finished Warlords, and he got his first Exotic, an Elmo's. I am pretty convinced that you are more likely to get drops of what group members already have. Carbine 7s are pretty rare. I had gotten only the one from Manning Zoo up to around level 30 when a friend started playing the game with me. He was around level 5 and got a Carbine 7 from a drop.
