Für Zwift etc. gibts mit interaktiven Trainern sicher bessere Optionen, aber für eigene Workouts ist er Super, gerade weil man auch keinen Stromanschluss braucht. Vom Geräuschpegel ist er auch echt angenehm leise. Ich habe eine Waschmaschinenmatte darunter und damit hören die Nachbarn nichts, ich wohne im 3. Stock und bisher kamen noch keine Klagen!

I bought the Elite Turno in early November for 402euros including shipping. Whoever at Elite who thought of the name of this unit is unaware of the concept called "googlability" btw since Elite Turno looks like a typo for Elite Turbo. Impressions? a good 20% above real power, got banned from zwift races so thank you for the info on adjusting the belt, I'll try that. Other than that, even though it is silent, at certain speeds it creates some sort of oscillation that makes my windows shake (and my downstairs neighbor running for the bomb shelter because of what sounds like an incoming armada of B52s). This happens when I do around 330 watts on the big ring, never on the small ring, and it stops again above 350ish watts. weird aint it? Oh and also, yes it comes with a free 12 month subscription to my E-training but when I entered my coupon code and downloaded the software, the program kindly informed me that my trainer was not compatible with My E Training and that I would have to wait. This was in late December so maybe it has changed? Funny though that the free 12 months is still ticking down... So my conclusion is that even though this is supposed to be an upgrade to muin, they dont seem to have really fixed the power readings issue and also the product feels rushed as its not compatible with my E training and the coupon code interface was still only available in Italian and not English. TL DR; This is a basically a MUIN II in a new plastic shell with the Misuro B+ unit placed inside said shell. I

Hi There, I've been riding the Turbo Muin for about a year now and I just recently had the same problem as you describe at 330 watts it sounds like a wahing mashine in the highest gear. Stripped it apart but can't figure out where it comes from. Did you fix your issue and if yes how did you do? Kindest regards!

Depends on the price. Things have changed A LOT in the last 18 months. Interactive smart trainers with more features than ever before are selling at the US$399 mark.

Yeah, and the turno is still as expensive where i live.. i wish elite continued to develop the fluid platform. A fluid trainer built like the justo(metal) for instance. Saris and kurt could have made some that was direct drive as well 🤔

Shane, I know these are an old enough model, but just got one delivered (it arrived damaged superficially but seems to work fine and have botched it back together with tape!). My question is whether the TURNO runs quite high resistance-wise? I find it very hard to turn the pedals over on the big ring and any rear cog past the middle of the cassette. Any thoughts? Thanks!

It's also worth looking at the Elite software to calibrate the unit. I did this with my Elite Realpower Turbo Muin B+ and it got within 1-2 watts of my two P2M power meters.

Oh wow, I actually got myself the Turno a week ago and the manual even showed some info on those 2 screws, but not why you'd actually need to tighten them. Shane, is there any feedback when tightening the belt or do you actually have to take off the casing to see if it's even?

No need to take the case off. Or even touch these in most cases, the unit should be working within spec out of the box.

Cool unboxing, I'm planning buy this, but I have one doubt... Is it possible to ride with a high cadence? There is no control here, and the resistance probably increases with the load. For example, if I'm going with cad. 90 and on the same load I would like to go with the cad. 135, the trainer may begin increasing the resistance so that the cad. 90 left? Do you know what I'm talking about? Once, I was pedalling on a machine in the gym, which increased the resistance with the force, so it was possible to ride max. at cad. 45. (air turbine resistance) As for the measurements, the difference of 64W in the sprint is quite a lot, especially 1 W / kg more or less for me. But looking at it generally charges a couple of watts at constant speeds, that balance flattens out.

When I pair my misuro b+ equipped trainer to zwift over bluetooth, it shows that I'm a zpower user. Over ANT+ it reads as a power meter, but I just can't seem to get as reliable a signal as bluetooth paired through ZML. I've done some digging around and saw a single zwift support thread where they said they removed the "lightning bolt" for misuro units because they're power calculators. Have you seen that with this unit? I find it odd that it only happens (for me) when paired over bluetooth. If this one still says that a rider is a zpower user (and hence subject to racing disqualification) then it seems like a steep price tag.

It is not an interactive trainer so Zwift cannot add resistance when you go up a hill on the platform. However, it can send power and cadence data to Zwift, which can use this to slow your speed down, and give the appearance that you are going slower up a hill. Power is correlated with the speed the flywheel is turning, and this is how fluid trainers provide and estimated power. So you can use this with Zwift, but it will not give you the full experience.

Hi, Shane. I bought this product and I have an issue. Maybe you might give me a solution. Above 23, 24 km/h speed sensor is not sending a data to my Wahoo Elemnt device. My training automatically stops and km/h line shows nothing. This happens also when I sprinting. Any idea to fix this?

@@AdrianSinner97 yeah, so i noticed the following - for the first 10min the turno displays wattage way off compared to my crank arm power meter (like around 10%). after that, values start to align and after another 5-10minutes (20min total) the turno kept displaying only around 3-4% below my power meter data - it didnt change after that. i then started to turn the nut thats responsible for the belt tension only 1/4 of a half turn until wattage was almost completely aligned. the next trainingssession it was still displaying right data so seems like it worked for me, but you nead AT LEAST 10-15min warmup on the trainer, at start you will still have around 3-4% wrong data.

@@rickardnorlin271 The resistance increased based on flywheel speed. Cadence depends on gearing. You'll need to test ride to see if it'll provide enough resistance with your gearing. If that's not possible, drop this as an option and go with something you can test ride to be sure it's the best solution for your training.

What is "Smart" about this device exactly?! It doesn't actually record power... just guesses it based on a curve. So the same as Zwift does with a dumb trainer. It isn't controllable. May as well just get a cheap fluid trainer and speed sensor!

Hello friend.. you have to be very careful when you talk about anything in your videos .. I mean calibrating the simulator .. It's an extremely delicate process. It´s better to say nothing. I´m not able to calibrate correctly. I don´t know which direction i choosed.. And now.. System of calibration is crazy stupide.. There is no any scale!
