@@KellBailey Super nice videos you are doing. I have heard that many Nord keyboards have problems with the keys getting bad and not working suddenly and make clanky noises when you play on the keys. Also I heard that suddenly som electric failure accurs so the upper slit section dosent work etc. Didi you have any problems with the keybed or keys or the electric circuits? Thanks for the nice videos again. Best Regards René from Denmark

I love my electro 6 my only problem is for the price of that board you should be able layer more sounds an tweak the sounds more ..I hate having to midi into it every time I take it for a gig ..I rather have a montage load with nord and Roland sounds …imagine having to bring two MacBooks every show because my keyboard isn’t powerful enough …(one MacBook for Ableton other for vst)

The only thing I don’t like is that it should have more space to store sounds. Or at least have something where you can plug in a hard drive and pull sounds from that.

I saw your video about having the Montage M8x and the Nord Stage 4 as the two main boards at the two different church locations. Do you ever bring the Electro6 onto the main stage or is it just your studio keyboard? Just wondering about which board to bring on stage with me. Especially on a big stage, I don't see many artist bring the Electro 6HP out, I do see organist bring the 6D out. Both you and another musician named Mike Patrick demo these boards really well(Nord piano 5 and Electro6). I don't like the new Montage or the Nord Stage pianos, and I hate producing, I give everything I sing and write to producers lol
@KellBailey5 ай бұрын
@@joycomesfromjesus8991 hey good question!! Since the Nord stage 3 is at the church there’s no need for me to be the 6HP out. But if I had to I would it’s a great keyboard the only thing is you can only layer 2 sounds on board.

@@A106 Thanks for feedback really appreciated and far as setting up pedal is straight forward in menu options correct?
@A1065 ай бұрын
@@prock355 Yea no prob, and should be straight forward, but with the Proline, the brand itself wont be seen in the menu settings of the Nord. I think you have to pick the Korg on the setting menu of the Nord, to make it work from 0-100%. The Yamaha I think should be just plug and play. But these might be different if you have a different Nord. I have the NS3C, so thats what works for me. Also you have to make sure you fully turn the knob on the side of the expression pedal to get full range from 0-100%, and make sure the polarity is right. Anyways hope that makes sense.

@A106 it takes an extra 30s-1min -_-.....You always have your own sound no matter where you go. fraction of the cost and most important ...UNLIMITED POLYPHONY!! That's worth and extra min to set up lol. It's literally just plugging 2 cables in Probably is just as quick as waiting for a board to load depending on the board. So you're not really saving any time overall.
