Man i wish you were located near me, i rented my car to a person for a month or so and they returned it an absolute mess; food in places, gross seatbelts dust and dirt in every crevice, pulled off shifter boot, and they had a minor accident in it. NEVER LEND YOUR CAR TO SOMEONE!!!

You can do some great detailing for under 100 bucks (not a one-time thing, supplies/tools that you can use multiple times), or if you want to be even more thorough you could buy an extractor vacuum for about another 100 - 150. Check out ChrisFix on yt, he does super good detailing tutorials

I hate people who don’t appreciate us detailers. It’s not a easy job. I dealt with a customer who said I’m taking to long. But he wanted a full interior. Bro a full interior when you have a family van isn’t going to take 4 hours. I could have gave you a in and out for all that and you still wouldn’t be satisfied. One thing about detailing I learned is a lot of customers will piss you off but to stay in the game you have to bite your tounge.

However a tenner for your cars outside to shiny clean is a more longer-term, better option for long term use when your broke.

The best part is when the neighbors see the ethic of work and refer others to you and your business… Detailing can be obnoxiously over the top and many won’t understand it, but it’s also an honour thing for me personally, allowing my eccentric tendencies room for a job well done. Some people don’t have the time or the ability to the job right or thoroughly, so it’s a niche service, that I’ve found to be appreciated. We’re called to do everything to the glory of God, and whatsoever we do, to do it heartily. Be careful not to let your work or pride lift you up into thinking you’re something you’re not. We’re all made of dirt, and given breath by the living creator who is merciful and ready to extend his grace to any who will trist Him. Be thankful for what you’ve been given the opportunity to have, temporarily, because it can all be taken away in a moment. Keep it clean brothers and sisters!

What he will never understand is to most people a £10 car wash does make there car clean and a £350 detail won’t make it look much better, most people just don’t see the details and the fine scratches and dirt around edges
