It is improper to test a vacuum gauge in this manner. You must have volume to test vacuum. Because the vacuum gauge checks for space between molecules. If you test this gauge with a tank hooked to vacuum to provide volume you will find the gauge will pass a decay test.

I would be careful with cheap core extractors. They are notorious for leaking vacuum.

Man its not even problem this is so normal for this tiny amount of space that you have, who discovered this procedure to test micron gauge like this by (connecting with ball valve or core removal tool) this is big mistake. You can know if the micron gauge works with no leaks or problem by check the lower value that will reach when its connected to vacuum pump directly, and test it on hvac system or recovery tank (to make sure that there is enough amount of volume)

No, it's not normal to lose it so fast, I made the video testing it this way, I tested other micron gauges this way and of course, they will leak some but nothing like this one, sadly this is leaking in any other condition of testing.

Yes but I tested in the same way with a Testo micron gauge in the same way with way better results, I made this video in this way just from frustration, sadly if you connect this crap to any aircon system behaves the same, I wish you would be right.

The problem you have it is with the length..... Try to do it with hoses and check the difference.

There is included o rings did you tryed them? Oring touch surface also doesnt look smooth.

I tried everything, and in the end, I bought a Testo 552 I, which is ok.

Same problem here 😢 Generaly élitech has best products in technology but no accecory or part for sell ,like me i have élitech emg-20v manifold that has digital screen and i broke the screen and no screen available for sell i contact élitech in US and UK and china and they said no accessory available for sell so i steck with a non working manifold 😢 If any one has solution tell me

Do you have any other micron gauge device? Have you try that decay test on the other unit?

Yes I have a Testo 552i, lightyears distance in comparison, that was my second choice, I tried to save some with the Elitech big mistake.

@@Messeduptech77 Luckily I have not buy that elitech yet but almost. I have another micron gauge here, the brand is "value", and i think has the same issue like your elitech there.
