This may be the single best resource on the conjugate method. I have invested in so much educational material over the years but constantly refer back to this video and share it with others. Phenomenal work, thank you, Dave

I've listened to this at least 6 times all the way through and I feel like I'm just scratching the surface. It really is something special and to behold.

I would go as far to say that this single video is the best resource for general strength and hypertrophy training as it pertains to intermediate and advanced lifters.

Louie's books are written like how Dave says he talks. Unfortunately these books are so full of knowledge. But every thought and idea is scattered so bad it makes it hard to follow along.

Hey! Missed live feed but have a question. What’s your thought on wave loading for dynamic effort method? As in set to set waving not weekly.

We will be shooting a QA - FAQ Podcast tomorrow on this video so I will add this to the list. Generally not recommended BUT there are times where it can make a huge impact.

when does the complete, simple synopsis (e.g., what you wrote on the whiteboard) start? it's good to answer questions, but it'd help to give the concise summary of the program first.

We just broke that out as its own video - it is now posted.

@Dave Tate Nice info. Can someone use conjugate method as strength training method but not for powerlifting. Use it to strengthen his sport? Judo, Bjj, wrestling??
@eliteftsofficial3 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely. In fact, concurrent/conjugate training originated for olympic and track and field athletes. It would depend on the sport in terms of what your major focuses for training and implementation will be. It would not necessarily have to look like a traditional conjugate model (max effort etc)
@user-rv2dv2re5l3 жыл бұрын
@@eliteftsofficial thanks for the quick response, maybe in the future you could make template examples for other sports? I think it would be very interesting.

Is it better to do our heavy OHP on max bench day ? Or can we do this on our speed work day.
@borisesquilotromp894 жыл бұрын
What do you mean with heavy? Like a max? Or like 3-6 reps? For a max do it on the max bench day as your max effort lift. For the 3-6 reps do it as a secondary on ME or DE
@Ferdek5993 жыл бұрын
@anonymous DE teaches you to produce and use maximal force, not to lift faster
