Eliud Kipchoge goes back to Berlin

Marathon world record holder and double Olympic Champion Eliud Kipchoge announces which marathon he will run in fall 2023.
The NN Running Team was launched in 2017 to provide athletes with access to better coaching, medical care and additional athlete support services. Since its inception its athletes have run world records, won Marathon Majors, and claimed Olympic and world titles. Among its star athletes include; Eliud Kipchoge, Kenenisa Bekele, Joshua Cheptegei, Letesenbet Gidey, Yalemzerf Yehualaw & Geoffrey Kamworor.

Hope both arrive at the start line in top shape and don’t have any niggling injuries. We all want to see the showdown especially the last 5-10km once the pacers have long gone. Fingers crossed for ideal weather too.

In my opinion, if you run a marathon under 3 hours and you are not a professional athlete, it's not less impressive than seeing those professional athletes. It's even much more inspiring!

@@DR-sq3mk Thank you, I had 100kg last year and started running a year ago, with a professional coach who is also a professional triathlete and the results are incredible, just had my half marathon PB 1:20:43, and lost 30kg :) I think everyone should at least try to compete with themself in any kind of healthy activity and see what great things they can do.

Kibiwott Kandie, this dude will one day break the 2 hr barrier. Kipchogi just opened the door for the younger generation, and just like the 4 min mile barrier was broken, to s lesser extent the 2 hr barrier will come down with a steady stream of great kenyan runners.

Doping aside. If kiptum and kipchoge go together it will be the most anticipated race in marathon history, now I will tell you my predictions: 1. Kipchoge will be wearing the alphafly 3 2. bottle clause will be back 3. If kiptum is with kipchoge at half way point then kipchoge is in big trouble 4. kiptum will wear the vaporfly 2 again 5. kiptum will give that "second half kick" 6. kiptum might win (Kipchoge is still my favorite! so dont come at me. I am only saying that age catches up all the time)
