I am so grateful to Lord God Almighty. So grateful to Sanctuary Runners, Parkrun, She Summit, Trail Criu, Brother Eliud Kipchoge, Brother Kenenisa Bekele and all that make me to start running again, they all are true inspiration. Ran my 2nd marathon without stopping and also did not go to toilet and I only drink water in 4:46:55. I am running my 3rd Dublin marathon next year October 2025 and I am so opportune and I will be working hard and be waiting patiently, I want to shed two hours from my time. So proud of you Brother Kenenisa Bekele you are a true legend. You have done your part and yet still going. You are incredible.

I was 90 miles a week one spring and decided that summer to do all my miles on the rail road dirt trail that was 26 miles long. I ended up running 10 miles twice a day, hitting 140 miles a week with a high week of 160 miles. My legs felt great! It wasn't a shuffle either it was all at 4:15/km. I remember going from 90 to 140 it felt like my whole life was running, it felt crazy like all I did was run but I set a big PB in the 5K that I have never gotten close to since. The last 400m of that rail trail was tarmac and it was always so jarring finishing a 10 mile trail run on it. When I moved back onto the roads in winter 90 miles felt like 140 on my legs. This said I do think you can get used to the roads, the tendons in your legs tune to the harder surface but it's still not as easy on the legs as dirt.

I wish the American athletes like NFL players would show the class these guys demonstrate when being interviewed. They are so humble, inspiring, and likeable. Its easy to admire them and cheer for their success

Enough living in the past Kipchoge. We need to do it in a real way and that is doing it solo in a race.

Geoffrey, you mentioned that Eliud Kipchoge is a great inspiration to you, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you - because you are such an incredible inspiration to me. Both in running and as a person, your beautiful energy shines through, and it motivates me a lot. I’m also so happy to see that your hard work has paid off and that financial struggles are no longer a burden for you. You truly deserve all the success you’ve achieved and all that is still to come! By the way, I lived in Manchester for years, and my running routes often took me past Manchester United’s stadium. ❤ I’m not a professional athlete, just a mum running with two little ones in a running buggy, with aspirations to beat my personal records and a deep love for running. Lots of love.
