Wow! Powerful, articulate truth-speaking. As someone who faced this in the workplace over twenty-five years ago, it can be so demeaning and hurtful and it stays with you. Especially when you just want to do a good job to the best of your ability. To be bound by arbitration clauses only serves to embolden perpetrators and fosters worsening outcomes for those who have no voice. I commend Ms. Dushku for taking a stand, and also to her support system for giving her a safety net to do so. Hopefully changes will be forthcoming to stop this kind of predatory practice from harming more innocent victims.

Where is the "if you see something, say something" among adults ? I'm French and the labour class is the best equipped to deal with these conflicts. Nobody was allowed to "pick on him"; We on the other hand, were his toys. he was a houndog for any women without a ring on her hand and a scarf on her head. I had to work alone with him regularly to change lighbulbs and neons (miles of stairs and caves, and even in common areas, who cares? )What usually took a week, suddenly took 2 days !!! he grabbed me anytime he came near me. And was a real player, masochist all around. My teamleader heard us sometimes, noticed he was covered with bruises, even joked about it. Since we were together every 3 weeks, no problem. week one, with an african, was reduced to Four days anyway. Then Three; that's the price of not helping me. i let them reasonably slack, did the work and they barely grumbled more than usual about the extra work I provided, which was their work. The woman previously harassed before me (who didn't do that job)was almost left in peace; Endured more than Eliza Dushku, but that was a relief for her. Little SOB was all about me. All good things come to an end; our boss went on vacation and a woman got the job; the gremlin blew a fuse and showed his colours. He actually tried to threaten our new teamleader ! Among other things, like destructing our Tshirts. She talked to him, let him do as he pleased for the day and called the direction. A union rep came right away, The next day, accompanied by the HR. On day three the direction and HR came and apologised to the team, spent quality time with women to hammer the fact that we should step up. and not hesitate to talk to the real people in charge, like I did for my case. The new teamleader just confirmed and more what I had told. he harassed everyone anytime the mood struck him. Threatening the teamleader was a poor move. The gremlin was expelled instantly. His papa was reprimanded, but he let it known that he was relieved. I hear he listens more to his team now. And understands that signaling or firing people comes with being boss. We need education.

I hate that this happened to her. It’s horrible what these media conglomerates do to people. I hope she bounces back and ends up on screen again.

It's horrible what money and friends in high places do; They are both at fault. The man for 80 %, her too for acting meek and weak in a princesslike fashion. She's proud of being close to Whedon. The teacher's pet ? He pushed every actresses on set except her ? I think not. All of a sudden she's a fragile flower.. The meToo movement happened; some will take whatever revenge they can have. among the hollywood crowd it pays to be petty. her original creep didn't pay, someone has to. MW was an ass.

I was just watching you in the movie, “Bring It” and looked up the information about the movie and I happen to see this video about what happened to you. I am so sorry that this happened. Thank you for sharing. It seems like things have never changed from the early days of Hollywood. It’s good to know the reality about people so we don’t support them. They are disgusting, especially your costar.

Duh ? A man (in power) playing rather gently, and she lawyered up. Earned 6 years of work for untoward behaviour; sorry I can't relate.I've heard the charges; No wonder that assholes get elected president and that real victims get called feminazis. Pauley perrete NCIS knows about harassment. and knows Wetherley. as a real repeat victim, she supports HIM and his rights to be a moron.So do I. What did she went through ? being sniffed, complimented, asked to act. Pushed around a bit. Wow ! i suppose she never went on stage.

Wow! Just to think, as a trans woman, going through the same harassment at the apartment I'm subleasing. There is no one I can turn to. Being that I didn't have sex with the guy,ore than likely, he's eager to get me out of here. I would had left soon as the harassment started but I needed a place to live. It's been the hardest 2022.
@auntisthenes27542 жыл бұрын
You're familiar with real harassment.And the police doesn't do a thing if you don't press charges; we in France have two ways to do it. You're encouraged to use the first which lets the police bury the case right away. You're very discouraged to really go to justice. If your guy doesn't have money, you'll pay your lawyer. Unless He oversteps and the police has a real case. Which might involve your hospital bills in the US. That's real life. Real harassment. What did the police say ? I am really 100% with you. Be very careful. I doubt you can get him out safely. A lawyer probably would have couseled you to move out, the police too.They are right. If he's declared deranged,you won't touch a dime anyway. get out! Act cool like you want it, you agree,get packing even if you don"t know where to land. make it seem okay.

OMG this is so disgusting! This binding arbitration is horrible. This AMAZING lady was treated so terribly it's horrible we as a people can help defend her so much of my life has had this amazing woman in it she was my role model and now is belittled by some guy who is a ignorant psycho. Who knows the extent of her trauma, the way she portrayed such a powerful confident lady now she is second guessing herself all the time . Cbs I definitely will boycott u til u fix this u should have fired all them boys not men a real man doesn't conduct himself like that. I wanted to see her act not him she was/ is the real star and by her having the testicles cbs didn't and stood up for herself I love her more I been sexually assaulted over and over and it is life changing and a star of her caliber def shouldn't have been treated with such malice and disrespect. When I was being sexually abused as a kid watching her on buffy made me feel stronger and that one day I could protect myself and I thank u for that. I will always stand by her I'll b looking forward to her getting justice as well as anyone in that situation.😢

@decisiveliberty3 жыл бұрын
@@oldsoulone1217 Trump started a very effective wall along our southern border, giving the border patrol ample time to reach those trying to get across the border illegally. One of the first executive orders he signed on day one halted the construction of that wall. We are now experiencing 100s of 1000s crossing our southern border as well as the Biden admin fling them covertly all over the country in the middle of the night. Do know we are praying for you guys - your govt favors a police state and we need to be applying pressure on the govt In the form boycotts at every level. We're sharing every vid of police and Political brutality we come across as well as all resistance to the movements of the Elites. Globally, we are all reaching a point of no return, most favoring Liberty. Those that fall to the Elites will not be forgotten either.

BOTH parties have a sordid history in their treatment of women in the quiet of their back offices and elsewhere.
@decisiveliberty3 жыл бұрын
@@AvalonMagique that's because they are both populated with humans. Though your statement is true, a deeper dive into their histories discloses that though some are from the GoP, we would know them as RINOs. The name Conservative only came about at the time Liberal did, which let other Democrats know who were Globalists at the time (late 1800s). That stigma was provided by Albert Pike, the Rothschild's head henchman. The GOP took it on to separate RINOs from true GOPers, which today are hardly example of the Teddy Roosevelt GOPer who would literally castrate a person found doing such sordid activities. Today there are very few true Democrats and true GOPers, but a huge majority of those known to participate in such activities are Liberals.

You are one of my all time favorite actors. I'm sorry that this happened... But also this is something we need to rise above. The more attention we give the behavior the more the behavior will persist. I say this from experience. I worked on a boat in an engine room. My boss called me "squaw f me twice". The more upset I got the more the guys did it. However when I stopped giving rise to their behavior.... They stopped behaving that way. It was no longer fun for them.
