I think it's interesting how her defense team has her portrayed as a vulnerable young women that intended to do good, but due to her innocence, honest mistakes were made. You won't see any black turtlenecks or hear her baritone voice anymore, but you will see her mother sweetly holding Elizabeth's hand and a sincere, modestly dressed women. It's a facade, just as when she played the part of a brilliant medical expert and visionary. And, I'll bet she fools most people once again.

Um no. She didn't think they worked, she knew they didn't. That's why they had a separate room w/legitimate testing equipment in them so they could deceive people and keep getting funding. Even the people that were required to come in an inspect the equipment (she hid the other room from them) were deceived. People thought the tests results came from her equipment, but they didn't. Someone who had a test done at Walgreens (I believe or a lab that used her company) had labs that incorrectly diagnosed him. His doctor was suspicious, did labs on the guy again and had it sent to a different lab. This time he got the correct results, which wasn't good info, but had he gone w/the first labs info he's be worse off today. Her employees came to her w/info per labs and she blew them off. As far as the key evidence mentioned in this article, at least one person (one of the whistle blowers, Tyler Shultz) told her about the mis-information on their web site and/or in documents and she tried to explain it away or tell them she'd have it corrected. Of course she didn't. A reporter familiar w/the case said she didn't answer his questions straight forward and just said crap that didn't make sense. Many stated this in interviews w/her.
