Hello, thanks for the info. I have one question: I was told by a USPTO person that the USPTO no longer uses the US Class numbers for classification or registration of trademark but instead uses International. Will I need to pay a fee for each US Class still or just 1 for the International?

Don’t worry about which number set - they end up having the same effect. Just look at the USPTO trademark class database

You can renew forever as long as you pay the fees each time and you keep using it in commerce

If I want to just change my trademark from the actual visual mark to just the Phrase and the Acronym for that phrase can I do that ?

You can't really change your trademark once you file. You'd file a new application

Go to this site tsdr.uspto.gov/ and enter the registration number of your trademark. Then click on the "maintenance" tab and you'll see the deadlines for your renewals

​@@ElizabethPW Oh Thanks! I'll mark that in my calendar then. I guess I never looked under the maintenance tab before so I missed those were there. By the way, money is rather tight on my end but what do you charge to file a renewal for a trademark? I imagine the renewal process is a lot less involved than the initial filing, so maybe if I can afford it, it might be worth saving up to have someone like you help me come June.

Ah yeah I can't create a true screenshot tutorial until I'm filing a maintenance/renewal for one of my own trademarks (can't record a filing that I do for a client, since that would violate attorney-client privilege). Hopefully I'll be able to do it sometime soon
