I mean that's basically why she is like that. When she was younger she was much more "punk" and "badass" always getting into fights with Erza. Then she saw how much damage the take-over magic could do and decided to only fight when absolutely needed.

Hence she saw the damage their magic was capable of, particularly hers given that she has the demon takeovers. She feared losing control and/or accidentally causing collateral damage. The latter being mentioned as a reason why some of her forms were "forbidden" by the guildmaster for their destructive power.

Mira is just the sweetest character in FT. Since she is gorgeous, kind, lovely, strong and she has a so-kawaii face when she is smiling ! She even doesnt need to wear sexy clothes to be hot (not like Lucy) ! But when she does.... Mamma mia ! :P And his demon form just fit perfectly with the character showing a total contradiction with the cute Mira-san. Love it ! Thanks for the video & the good music ! ♥
