Eljer Cascada whirlpool tub

The tub is 60" x 32". I did a test for where the tub will sit. Drain is hooked up and ran a hose up from 1st floor. I shimmed the tub just to keep it steady and only filled just past the jets. No leaks and now I will pull the tub out to finish the install. Manufacture says to use mortar to set whirlpool in and there are 4 4x4 blocks of Styrofoam on bottom. I need to find out if the foam sits to the floor before it gets embedded into mortar. All the prep work so far kinda gets redone as I go. More info to follow
