Great video. Elk City is a great little town. Love going there to get a break from the Dallas rat race. Next time you go through, if you haven’t already, check out Janice’s Cafe in the Clarion/Elks Inn. Great food, service, and prices. It’s at 118 Meadow Ridge Dr off of HWY 6 on the south side of 40. Fred’s Steakhouse is a great place too on 6, just north of 40.

A nice and clean little town. Not much traffic and we all know why! lol Makes it easier on all the truckers. I seen that little deer and I hope it made it back to where it came from safely. What a beautiful day you had for traveling. Be careful and enjoy that nice no rain day!

It's pretty sad, that after yet another school massacre, the first thing you see when you enter downtown elk city is a large multicolored led sign advertising weapons. Especially on a day when the nation is flying flags at half mass. It sends a pretty crude message. Just sad. I didn't stop at the shops downtown ...a feeling of unease...I'm just not 100 percent sold elk city.....feeling hesitation about relocating. Elk City did I ever really know you?

It’s a good town. Born and raised there, wouldn’t hesitate raising a family there. The community feels like one big family that’s always welcoming for new people or people just passing through
