That Hagglunds BV206 snowcat brings back memories. What vehicle that was. It could get up to seventeen fully equipped troops into an active zone across a whole spectrum of terrain and in comfort so that they were rested and ready to rock and roll. As the boys prove, it makes a pretty good recovery vehicle too. The crisp snarl of that 6 cylinder Mercedes engine never fails to bring a smile.

Me being a Finnish native, but living in Germany, I still love your videos and this was the first time, that I actually listened what you called Sisu-Nasu.. And that translated to you..if you haven't looked that up from wikipedia yet.. nasu is the Finnish word for Piglet from Winnie the Pooh..and the word Nasu for that vehicle comes from "nauha-sisu", that just translates to track-sisu in English. BUT it is cool that you use the Finnish word for it!! I like it a lot. Iz naizzz..

Yes!!! Definitely hate the time change and getting stuck doing things in the dark! I think everyone was surprised by how much snow came early with these storms. However, hunters are a special breed and they would have probably gone anyway in spite of a possible storm weather report. Epic scenery!! Thanks for being the Good Samaritan Sparks team. Glad to see the Nasu put into good use! I was a Sissi (recon) in the FDF and we had these as squad vehicles. They can get a bit finicky with their maintenance, but they go pretty much anywhere. I've seen these scale damn near vertical cliffs without too much effort, while loaded.

I instantly recognised the tracks of that thing! I drove things like that in the finnish army. Never got to drive a nasu but I spent lots of time with bandvagn 206's. Amazing machines, I got to drive one around in norvegian mountains and several of them through forests and snow in Finland.

It’s really cool that I know exactly where you guys are! That area is one of my favorite places on this beautiful earth. I camp very near there MANY times each summer. I have a favorite spot I call “Camp Sabot”. Sabot was my dog from a tiny puppy at 5 weeks old until she passed at 12 years. This was our favorite area and I buried her there. I hope when I pass, my ashes will be spread, by airplane in that same area. Thanks for doing what you do guys, you help to keep our amazing lands and people safe. I was stuck in this area in 2005 on the elk hunt. Luckily, I only had to leave my trailer for 10 days after sliding off the road (to the west) until it all melted and I was able to recover it.

Thankful for the content and effort you guys make for us! I just finally decided to watch you this past week because I noticed you randomly popped up on my feed and decided to "try it out". I can't even lie and I hate to admit it, but in my younger days I judged y'all without even knowing who you were or what you were about. I legitimately assumed you were all meathead d-bags and never cared to give you a shot or anything, but.... there is great news! I've binged y'alls videos for a week straight and have at least watched 70+ videos and followed y'all on all socials lol. I feel so stupid for assuming I knew what y'all were about, I'm glad I finally let go of that stupidity I had in my head and seen you for who you really are. Some genuine, thoughtful, loving, patriotic, good hearted dudes who will do anything for anyone and I just want to say I'm sorry for judging you and I'm happy I gave you a chance because y'all have helped me through this week like you wouldn't believe. I'm in a horrible mental spot in my life for the past few years and just can't get out of this rut. I feel so empty and nowhere to go because I just want to be successful and make my own business, build my own life and just make it and I have no damn idea where to start, what to do, what to pursue and idk who to talk to about it. I hate even bringing it up, I hate letting other people in on my thoughts and stresses, but I'm just at my wits end right now and don't know where to go. I just want to thank y'all for the videos because it's taken my mind of this mess for the past week and gives me a small glimmer of hope that maybe I can build something and make a life for myself and family one day like you have. Btw, this rescue could easily be done with a larger farm tractor and proper chains. I often drive in 1 to 1,5m of snow on the field in the winter time here in Norway. @@feelinghealingfrequences7179 No it all depends on how you manage the cows, thats whats new here, and you gotta learn this stuff, just because you had to do with livestock all your life doesnt mean you know enough about regenerative livestock management. Gotta be open minded. If you keep the cattle on the land for too long of course they will eat the roots if there is nothing else, but if you put them on the land for half a day and then move them, they will maybe only eat 50% of the plant, and that is good for the plant and also new plants, it will encourage new plants to grow and thats how you make desert into grassland and make the water stop running of it to destroy roads and clock up rivers with sediment.

This happened to me and my brother in the 2019 deer hunt. We were hunting near Smith & Morehouse in Summit County Utah. Just like these guys we went up when it was clear and got snowed in. Thank god for Summit County Search & Rescue who came and got us. They brought up the same tank and trailer on tracks like the one in the video. I’m glad there were no cameras cause it was embarrassing 😂 Diesel Brothers are the shizz though !!!

Same ol”same ol” ,As a retired leo out of Wyo and as a Deputy Sheriff in Laramie, a yearly adventure was locating lost hunters up in the Snowy Range West of Laramie .. The world is a better place because you are in it. Your generosity if not rewarded in this life, it certainly will be in the next life. I wish your exploits would go mainstream television. I was fortunate enough to run one of those machines in 2006 in the back country of Nebraska while building a multi-million dollar house for a gentleman.. fucking awesome machine! Crawl strait up a 7' tall sheer wall and then strait back down it again, floated it in the lake, had about 30 empty cans floating in the cab with us. I'll never forget it
