I love how the channel turns the blue of the Greek flag to a darker tone when the anthem is from the Junta period. The Junta turned the blue of the flag to a darker shade in 1967-1973. It was later restored to a lighter tone when the junta fell. Very thoughtful!

To be more accurate, the Junta used the Navy flag of Greece since the old one was just the blue one with the white cross and the crown while the Navy one is the striped one, junta took that flag and change the color to dark blue, there's a version of it where it has a phoenix in the middle of the cross too.

I would prefer a dictatorship than a democracy if it didn't exile any political opponents for example left wings or people that had fought during WW2 and had abandoned their families to save their country They brought fear into the people. Also doing horrible things to high ranked military officers and forcing the whole military to obey them no questions asked or else. They even betrayed our comrades in Cyprus and didn't try to act at all. They even assisted a coup against the Cypriot Government and installed their own leader for a while and finally they cooperated with far right extremists like the people that aided the Germans and people that make up today's Ultranationalist Parties like the Banned Golden Dawn. Their leader after all has cooperated with them. It might sound nice that they did all those things but an anti democratic government formed from a coup of not even the highest of the military that put fear into the people that didn't share their political goals or just wanted a free democratic country wouldn't last a long. And i say 6-7 years long enough to destroy the political structure of Greece.

So, I researched the word "πετελισκά". I used Google translate and translated it to German and English.The results that I got were "Flawless" and "Einwandfrei", meaning "Perfect". In Greek, those words are translated as "άψογος" and "τέλειος". What I'm guessing that word "πετελισκά" means is "άριστος", which is a synonym of those two, but can also mean "the one from a family that is of a higher class". So, the word "landlord" is fitting since most of the "άριστοι" had their own lands.

@@Ingenting So, I researched the word "πετελισκά". I used Google translate and translated it to German and English.The results that I got were "Flawless" and "Einwandfrei", meaning "Perfect". In Greek, those words are translated as "άψογος" and "τέλειος". What I'm guessing that word "πετελισκά" means is "άριστος", which is a synonym of those two, but can also mean "the one from a family that is of a higher class". So, the word "landlord" is fitting since most of the "άριστοι" had their own lands.
