Ok, Dara and Ella, let's make this more practical. When faced with disappointment, 1. Examine yourself in line with God's. Are you in the center of his will? 2. Evaluate your choice(s). How do you make your decision or choice? 3. Submit your will for His will just like you both said. 4. Trust him for something better. There is always something better for every disappointment a child of God finds himself (Ask Ruth). God bless you all.

You ladies are amazing and you are so relatable!!! And Ella honestly when you were talking about having your desires and presenting it to God. I can totally relate because I said to God this is my desire but from the depth of heart, I was ready to let go of my desires and let his will be done and you won't believe when I met my husband, my desires flew out of the window and what attracted me to him was his love for God. Today I look back and just thank God because indeed he gave me the greatest gift for me. We just celebrated our 8th year in marriage!!!!

when I spill out my desires to God, there's a way the candidness of it helps me let go of it. keeping it secret away from the secret place of his presence in prayer makes it fester. but when I tell him, that desire just suddenly loses its grip on me. the beginning of the verse says: "Delight in the Lord... (and then) he will grant us the desires of our hearts." if we truly delight in God, like sis Dara said, we would have lost any personal desire because we delight in him and now love what he loves. PS. love your tops MA's. You both look gorgeous!

To the world your own can look like too much but the world won’t stand for us when we are giving account to God. And Dara I feel the same way about writing list last last sha Gods will will be done. Yea. Godly relationship is orchestrated by God Himself beyond your like and dislikes. It is secured in God. Primary purpose of pleasing Him in all aspects. Very distinct and clear focus. It is not trial and error. Most times, the love is inert beyond what we see but at last if it works out, everything falls in place as if there were no differences. Unfortunately, many single christian ladies and guys engage themselves in worldly relationships. May God help His children.

More Grace Ladies, my take on the question number 1 is that Christians don't get disappointed, that which we usually call disappointment is usually God's Divine strategy to lead us to the expected end, his purpose (that Glorious Destination ) which he promised us in his word, so if we are treading a part contrary to his Devine purpose he will do everything possible to disconnect us from that part for our own good, ( consider ROM: 8 vs 28 and Jerem: 29 vs 11 )but because we are spiritually short sighted we call everything disappointment. We might not understand everything that's happening in our lives as Christians but we must keep Trusting him. This is a Revelation i got recently in my spirit, it just came into my mind even though I wasn't thinking of something like that previously. Coming across this question on this program today am glad to share it here. Lovely More insight.
