Fun fact: "Somebody To Love" was not the original song choice. Director Tommy O'Haver discovered that Anne Hathaway didn't have very good chemistry for a more classical "fairy-tale" song, which was their first choice. In the end, O'Haver and Hathaway were relaxing when Hathaway started dancing to and singing along to Queen's "Somebody To Love" and they both decided that this was it.

I think a lot of people overlook Prince Charmont's acceptance of Ella. Like, he didn't even know about the gift/curse and thought Ella was just a woman who impulsively did things. I love this song. The first time I seen this scene, it makes me cry because the song reminds me of my Dad who used to play a lot of Queen's song in the house. He passed away few years ago. The version of this song is lovely and just charming. Thank you Anne. All the best to your career and family life. Xx♥️

I saw this movie like 2 or 3 years before, I loved it, I remember thinking 'Wow I didn't know she could.', in my opinion she's a pretty good singer, I enjoy her voice 😊.

queen is so awsome that even in fictitious worlds every one in a random bar knows the exactly lyrics of Sombody to Love and also the guitar and drum parts ^^

Did I mention that I think Anne totally killed this? Cause I think she did but that's just me the acting, while she's singing, dancing, she's amazing in this scene also taking a classic Queen song and applying it to her situation was a stroke of genius, to whoever thought of this, thank you, totally fitting given her situation
