If Hattie and Olive were my stepsisters, I would've made an attempt to bond with Olive because she's the nicer of the two. I think she only acts mean because her sister makes her, I bet if it weren't for her sister she'd be a lot nicer. And given how she and her mother were dancing at Ella's wedding it does imply they now accepted Ella or at least gained a new respect for her. I think Ella liked Olive because in the book she did stick up for her when Hattie wouldn't let her wear jewelry Ella told her to "Just let her have it." what do you think.
