She is a superstar in the making. Husky, poignant, full voice. Nice head voice too, In just a dozen songs revealing a three octave plus range. Very unique vocal quality and technique. Has very good control ... she gets to create her own lane, she is that good! Looking forward to the next few years :-)

Boisdepierre Thierry She's great, and her range definitely exceeds Adele's, but her songwriting has a LONG way to go before it compares with even the likes of Adele's work on 19 (let alone 21). I'm afraid she's too tied up in demonstrating her vocal prowess ahead of baring her soul and emotional vulnerability to truly compare with Adele. Regardless, we'll see how she's received by her peers in the industry. Our little opinions really mean nothing at this point.

***** Yes, I don't think Ella is even interested in 'becoming Adele' or being as famous and successful Adele. I can't imagine that anyone in their right mind would want that. Adele certainly didn't... My initial comment was in reply to those who had compared the two. I agree with you completely, in that there will never be 'another' anyone... That artist has already been, and it's impossible for there to be another; intentionally or otherwise. Defining/categorizing someone and 'the next _____' is pointless, because that artists impact has already been made, and recreating it is literally impossible. Ella is her own artist, and she's doing it wonderfully. I will go certainly to her concert when she tours.
