Is spell work required for Wicca? I've been looking into Wicca recently as I am currently technically agnostic but I don't feel agnostic. I've always said my religion is love which basically goes along w the wiccan rede but how I usually say it is love everyone(love looks different from your husband to your neighbor but the power is all encompassed as "love and light). And I also say sometimes bad things happen to you but don't be the bad thing that happens to you(like some things are out of your control but don't do something intentionally wrong or hurtful or it hurt you in the long run essentially). And I have always felt that there is an inner connectivity between everything in the universe, like one power or energy within all things that makes everyone and everything go and exist and thrive etc... Sun moon stars trees, dogs, cows(I call it the avatar power, like the movie avatar with the glowy lights all around only we dont see it physically w our eyes like you do in the movie). And I also meditate and believe in the power of your manifesting change in your life etc.. but spells specifically dont align w me. Wondering if it's necessary to be Wicca to do spells. Idk what I am but I'm trying to figure it out. Wicca or pagan is as close as I've gotten but even that's not clicking. Someone help. 🙄

you dont need spells to be a part of wicca. the great thing about wicca is that its super accepting of everyone and everything. if you dont need or want spells, you dont have to use them :)

Now, as far as I can guess, formulating the spell involves symbols, a symbol for the object, such as "a job", and a symbol of the act, such as "getting". What symbols are used within Wicca? One has to have some symbols to work with when formulating a spell.

"Don't use ingredients you don't feel comfortable using" I'd like to give a less extreme example: In a spell for a calm mind, a lot of people would use lavender, but if you're allergic to it, or just don't like the smell, do not use it

The salt can be reused for black salt (protective salt) or thrown away in the trash - never bury salt as it will make the soil infertile
