But then the chorus kicks in, when you wanna really hear Ella belting the vocals out like we know she can.. and her voice gets swamped by all that layering and backing-vocals. This isn't about Ella's versatility or talent, nobody's denying that. It's about wanting to hear her voice with as little post-production and what are essentially distractions as possible.

I can imagine her singing the next James Bond theme. She has a powerful voice that would suit Craig's Bond, though she reminds me of Adele a bit so I don't know are they too alike.
