✨PLEASE READ✨ 1.This is *not* a treatment for a neurological condition like ADHD. 2. When I was comparing the safety of this product to a “chemical” one, I was talking only about so-called study drugs people order on the internet which are largely unregulated and unsafe - I’m not at all talking about prescribed medication (which is very thoroughly tested and safe). This is just a vitamin capsule with caffeine which is why it’s relatively researched and safe, but this isn’t a rule of thumb for every supplement with “natural” written on it. PLEASE look into your supplements, and don’t just trust “natural” as “safe” because it most certainly can be just as dangerous as chemical/man-made compounds. 3. I only mentioned it being plant powered so that it was very clear that this ISNT medication, or a so-called study drug that people illegally take; I didn’t make this clear enough in the video and a lot of people are inferring that I meant natural = good. That’s 100% my fault, I thought it was clear as I then specifically talked about this being labelled as safe by the relevant agencies (as “natural” supplements can be incredibly dangerous!!). I apologise as I truly should’ve made this clearer. 4. Do not start a new supplement without consulting your doctor, especially if you have an existing condition. 5. I have got a discount code from Brainzyme at the request of u guys in the comments, you can find it in the description. I am not making any money from this, yall just asked so I asked them ahhaa. 6. After hearing the feedback from this video, Brainzyme have now made their claims of sustainable packaging more clear, defined and substantiated on the website, so not to “green wash” the product. They’re also actively working on more sustainable ways to safely package these! This video was only meant as an interesting documentation of my personal experience. It is not an endorsement ☀️ Also, it would also mean the world if you could leave a like and a comment on this video !! The algorithm doesn't like me much at the moment, so it would really help me out!! 🌈

I adore how responsible you’re being, by not just jumping into a video with „well, this pill pushes productivity“ and then the results, but actually explaining what it is made of, side effects, why it works, and all that! I’ve seen a lot of comments complaining about the length of the intro, but I think it was right to put all that in, so people actually know what you’re doing and how it may influence ones health, especially if they’re thinking about getting the pills themselves! So, thank you for that!

I had no idea! The comments have been so interesting because so many people with ADHD/ADD have added their experiences with their prescribed nootropics or just their personal lives living with ADHD. I only meant this video to be about people who take nootropics (often illegally) to aid with studying which can be so dangerous, and to try a ‘natural’ alternative that was safer - but it’s been so amazing to hear everyone’s insight !! Thank You for your comment ❤️❤️❤️

YES. This is EXACTLY how my inattentive adhd is like. It's a misnomer to call it "attention deficit disorder" because I have plenty of focus. I can tunnel vision like nobody's business when I'm reading something, and gods help the poor soul trying to talk to me or otherwise get my attention because I will literally not hear them. So the issue isn't that I lack focus, but rather that it's incredibly difficult to _shift_ focus. It's also harder for me to process things fast enough when presented with a ton of information at once, because if you tell me something, I'm doing my best to process that, so then I won't immediately catch what is said next, and if they continue with more information, I get overwhelmed and blank out. This is partly why I cannot take notes well, because I cannot listen to the lecture, process what is being said, and write it down, all at once. That's too many things to juggle for me. Bless my new job trainer who has a son with ADHD so understood my needs and always sends me Spark notes asking "did you catch all that?" and offers me 1-on-1 zoom meetings for us to go over what was unclear just in case I feel embarrassed asking questions in front of the group. Edit to add that I feel that you talked faster this video. In fact, I had to make sure I didn't have the video on 1.25x because of it.

@Arna Cook True, though hyperfocus is usually quite different for people with ASD. We can both be obsessive about a hobby or subject but with ADHD that obsession can be gone in a split second. Usually people with ASD have more consistent interests and can focus on that for a long period of time and are able to come back to that interest later. I even forget to feed myself, drink, talk to people, shower, sleep etc. while I'm in hyperfocus. There's a complete lack of awareness of my own needs really. I haven't heard that much from my friends and family with ASD, they're usually a bit more aware of their own needs. But there is an overlap in symptoms for sure.

Omg it’s not just me! I started adderall a month ago and I’ve found that I need a to-do list to gear my focus in the right direction, if I actually need to get things done. Sometimes I take it when I don’t actually need to do anything and it just makes me less depressed (my psychiatrist said that this is a common side effect of Adderall; just treating ADHD in general can help depression because you’re more focused, organized, and confident)

Hey Elena, loving the video so far. I just wanted to pop in and let you know that as someone who once worked in a place that sells supplements an natural products, is that the you’ll find that tablets only fill the bottle halfway because legally they have to provide a certain amount of information on the back of the tub in order to be approved by all of the correct regulatory bodies. You’ll probably notice that writing on the back is tiny and if so, that’s because they’ve tried to make the bottle as small as they legally can but still provide all the important information on the back. Hope this helped! 💕

Not gonna lie Ms. Bat, I have adhd and it really sounds like this pill gave you adhd symptoms temporarily. The hyperfocus to the point of forgetting what you're doing, the getting distracted and cleaning despite knowing you're on a deadline, and the being incredibly productive and getting work done way faster than normally. I'm not saying seriously that this is a pill of give you adhd or anything, but it is interesting imo

Honestly I had very little idea about a lot of the symptoms of ADHD, but a lot of people in the comments (like yourself) who have it have shared their experiences and it’s so interesting that they’re all saying that the intense focus seems similar to ADHD symptoms. How interesting - I wonder if there’s a study that investigates this correlation?? 👀

I've just got used to carrying a water bottle if I leave the house for more than 30mins and keeping packs of sugar free polos in all my pockets as a back up. Just wondering, with amphetamines is it that your body actually needs more water or that it just thinks it does? Or a bit of both?
@MsFionalisa
@MsFionalisa 3 жыл бұрын
@@emmao6578 My understanding is that it's a little bit of both in addition to the excess of energy causing neurotransmitters that increase respiration and heart rate. As we know, amphetamines are also appetite suppressing for most people so they don't eat. There is a ton of water in food so without that coming in it would cause thirst. I think you're totally smart for carrying around backup hydration to take care of yourself.

To shot a nasty or harsh drink: Take a deep breath and hold it Then put container to lips, Open mouth and toss head back/drink to back of mouth Then quickly swallow THEN you can bring your head back up and the remaining taste will be much more mild and much easier to get rid of

First off, this is my first time watching any of your videos and I already see you and I could be great friends (at least in my head). I was too invested in your experiment after taking this pill. Because I have a youtube channel focused on mental health (I am diagnosed as schizoaffective....my happiness is too overwhelming) I couldn't help but analyze a bit of your journey under the influence. Your shower story? I honestly believe you did exactly what YOU wanted to do! It doesn't mean what you felt needed to be done isn't just as important, you seem to acknowledge how you feel or think about whatever is on your mind (which, as a member of this club, feels like a blessing and a curse...) and, lets be serious, something captivated your interest and you explored! That was your way of giving yourself a moment. Furthermore, in reference to using supplements, my issue is them becoming a dependency. I have a youtube channel that speaks about my experience with meditating. Before you even THINK you don't have the tension span to meditate, do some thorough research, you might surprise yourself. My issue was having a wandering mind, not being focused, and the list continues. If you STILL have doubt, go to HeartofK on KZbin. There are many videos to choose from, I'm sure a few will grab your interest. By the way, I give credit to successful bank robberies. It's wrong, dead wrong, however, the strategic planning created for the heist working seemlessly is genius to me...........and that's ok

I have ADHD, and your episode in the shower looks like my everyday life without my meds. But the rest of the video being so concentrated on things and going on another track and the track before completely disappear and feeling like you can do anything, looks like when I take my prescribed meds. Except my prescribed meds make me not hungry all day, forget to drink water and sometimes it's hard to sleep (and yes they are the right dosage). It is very interesting to see the point of view of a natural supplement ta can help to stay focus. Thanks for all the lovely videos!! :D

When she talked about watching the video in the shower.. that's literally me with most videos, especially movies/shows. People talk to me and I don't absorb anything they say, at all. And my partner gets upset with me for losing track of time constantly bc this always happens. Sad part is the hyperfocus is typically not on things I need to get done like schoolwork, but rather on distractions.

I would like to throw in a slightly biased biologist's opinion: 3:46 people often think this but the exact opposite is the reality, the fact that these supplements are not medicines means they are not regulated as such, and the company has no obligation to prove efficacy or safety of the product. In fact, "natural" supplements can actually be very dangerous and potentially interact with any other medications you are on. If in doubt always seek the opinion of a doctor before taking a new supplement or medicine

just started this product (Pro) 3 days ago, and I have noticed that I'm just *doing* more than normal. Granted, 'normal' isn't much these days. I don't feel "focused" or "motivated" or "energetic or like I want to DO anything. I'm just doing more than normal and I can stay on task for longer than 10 minutes. Other than that, I've had no similarities to what is described in the video. I don't get on "track" and focus to the exclusion of other things, and I definitely don't lose track of watching videos or taking showers :D :D Additionally I haven't experienced any negative side effects such as abnormal thirst. I take two shortly after waking and then two more 2 hours later. Overall, I'm not SUPER impressed. Having said that, if this product continues to contribute to my "doing" things and keeping on task, I'll gladly pay out the $40 for it. Thanks, ellbat, for doing this video and bringing this product to my attention. P.S. my wife just informed me that she has noticed a better/more stable mood on my part over the past 3 days, so bonus! :)

The reason containers are often filled only halfway and then have all this open space/air on top is that they're often filled by machines that quickly drop the measured amount into the container, and when this happens, they don't neatly fall directly into their final resting place but instead a lot of times DO almost fill the container (except for a little space up top in order for the product not to bounce out after being dropped) with a lot of air in between them, propped up in different directions against each other while the container moves on down the assembly line where they're closed or capped off or whatever, labeled, and so on. Well, then they're packed up and shipped to wherever they're going from the initial packaging plant and while they're being bounced around and jiggle and jostled with the bottle/container in an upright position, the product inside is starting to pack down into tighter positions against each other kind of like a mini tetris or puzzle game, figuring out where their final resting place will be. So by the time they reach their intended recipient, the space at the top is a lot bigger than it was when the initial number of product were dropped into the bottle simultaneously.

Yeah... so I was listening to this constantly thinking "this sounds a lot like what I experienced when I recently started to take my prescribed ADHD meds", while packing some of the last things in my apartment - a bit over 10 days before moving day. It absolutely does not solve everything to have meds, they may give motivation and energy to do things, but yes, you most definitely still have to be able to prioritize on your own. So maybe I should now go back to higher priority things such as working on my papers that I have to write. For the record, I am not yet on the full recommended dosis of my meds since I've only started them recently and my therapist wants to make sure we increase it slowly, but I can really tell a difference already. Anyhow, I really appreciate the effort you put into clarifying the difference between what you tried out and regulated medication! Also, having had to swallow between 1 and 4 pills daily over the last... many... years, I've become quite the pro, so I shall never complain about anything again.
