Vehemently disagree with this. Getting help from my parents would be completely different from them influencing me into a job. No way. And it’s a gross mischaracterization to say that most people would want nepotism. Especially as parents. It’s not about your kids happiness. Hence players (i.e. austin reaves, declined to be drafted by pistons at #42) who could've been drafted in the late second round prefer to be undrafted so that they can choose their team freely. That 'kid which grew up in poverty' can sign with the lakers g-league affiliate just as bronny james.

This really sucks. I grew up in the 80s and the 90s. I watched SportsCenter religiously as a kid, and as a teenager. When I got in my 20s, I was working, but there was a show, I’d make sure to record or try to watch every day and that was PTI. It was two guys talking about and arguing sport topics. But that show was truly the downfall of ESPN, because now that’s all they do. I get that a format like SportsCenter wouldn’t work anymore, but they have a bunch of women activist, talking sports and telling me how I should think, I just can’t do it.

Is this a case of nepotism? Absolutely. But aquiring Bronny James was not about nepotism (ultimately), it was about business. Lebron on the Lakers sells and brings in $$$ for the organization. So keeping Lebron happy is key to the Lakers, and aquiring Bronny is a result of that - just like any other perks or incentives the Lakers throw LeBron's way. So once again, I think people should stop focusing so heavily on the nepotism aspect and just accept that this just business being done.
