Thanks for your feedback on our tanks! The rock humid hide is made from rocks glued onto a plastic container, and I used grout in the gaps. Super easy! Inside of our humid hides, I have a plastic container lid with a paper towel on top of it. I tried to switch to Spaghnum moss, but Thor didn't like it. 😂 He's starting to grow out of the coconut, so he's about to get a new humid hide. Oh, and I got those slate pieces off of Amazon so I'd have a place to feed them that wasn't on the loose substrate, and it doubles as their basking spots. 👍😁

Love that! Those are all awesome ideas, and I didn't even know you could buy slate pieces on Amazon. Thank you! 😊

Thank you guys for the advice! I admit I’ve heard about the dangers of cohab. For the Leo’s they’re the same age male and female. My girl has plumped up quite a bit but the boy I had him separated for quite some time and he didn’t plump up. He sheds and uses the bathroom more frequent than my girl, the amount of hides and size of the tank is to give them space. Without each other though they seem to kind of just get depressed, no sheds, not much eating and very little bathroom use which is why I keep them together. For the beardies it’s more of an attempt at breeding and seeing how they behave together. I appreciate you guys so much for the advice and put a smile on my face to hear the kind words!

I got a good tip on how to help keep your cleanup crew alive and thriving. I can't remember who I heard it from unfortunately. For arid enclosures, you can designate one small corner/area to be the "damp" spot. Put damp moss, tree leaves, etc in the area to create a mini area with moisture and slightly higher humidity. Dump your cleanup crew in this area so they know it exists and can use it to rehydrate and/or hide when they wish. You can also give them small pieces of cuttlefish bone to munch on. I don't have any bioactive enclosures and haven't been able to confirm these tips and tricks personally, so please keep that in mind if you try any of them. 💙💚🤘🏻

To answer your questions. Yes I made the warm hid for my Beardie. I got the inspiration for watching yalls vids. Was my first attempt. Lol The pipe is an old decoration from an aquarium I had. She has MD so can't use her legs like normal, hence why her tank was a little more open. She still climbs, is a good eater, and with water I see her soaking in it usually 3 times a month. She loves her little wading pool! Lol

Thanks guys. I am really really enjoying your channel. I do have one request. When you first show the tank, you do it full screen. When you start pointing out specific things, it is on a miniature screen. I find the smaller screen difficult to see. I have a pretty good size monitor. But not big enough. Could you maybe flash to the large screen with the arrows? So that we can better see what you're talking about. Just a suggestion. Again I am really enjoying your channel. You guys are great

Thank you for your comments. My name is Pronounced (Kay-Lun). My Dragon's name is Oldaviing (Old-duh-veeng) I got the name from Skyrim. The tank size is 4x2x2. I use Powder Blue and Powder orange Isopod and Arid Sprintails from the Bio Dude. I will admit I release the spring tails and the only evidence I have is I will occasionaly see one but mainly no mold or anything develops which I understand they combat. . I Also I use Meal Worms and Dubia roaches in there you would think that causes hi to over eat but not realy he just hunts when he gets hungry and the ones that escape burrow into the substrate.The pods and Worms I am always seeing leaves ruffling and trails in the substrate layer so they are surviving. Every time I think the roaches are gone my dragon finds one LOL. The long light across the cool side is a grow light but I have since put a uvb on that side as well. The Herb are Spiriment and Basil. Glad you enjoyed my submision I am quite pleased with it. It's bringing out lots of interesting behaviors in my beardie.

Thanks for getting back to me! Your entire comment was super helpuful. And thanks for the name pronunciation - I'm terrible at that. That was the dragon you can call right? Love Skyrim! I just started a new play through of ESO, not the same, but I've started too many new games of Skyrim 😅 I'll have to give the Bio Dude's arid springtails a try - thanks for the feedback on them!

Thanks for the feedback on my enclosures! The growtents have mesh either on the sides or tops to allow air flow! I get mine off of Amazon 😂. My heat lamps don't have cages on them, and I've never had an issue with it. Though, I have cages and other heat lamps to use if it stops working. All my bps LOVE their dog balls lmfao!! But thanks so much❤

I have a 23-year-old turtle she lives in a 75 gallon aquarium. We built a wood stand on 8 inch Caster wheels we put six of them under the tank we put 2 by 4's in each Corner in one in the back and put a wood deck up on top we used an old guinea pig cage and reconstructed it to fit over the top. Conveniently two of The Doors open up on the front on both front facing sides if that makes sense. Adore opens up on the top. And on the right hand side the whole end opens conveniently because of this cage we found my husband built a spiral wooden staircase out of wood composite just like the deck so the tank can be completely filled with 75 gallons of water. She has a floaty. And when she goes up to the deck there's a log a pond and some grass with her basking light❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

My dragons use their water dish daily …. I didn’t think that was still up for debate 😬🤷🏻♂️ Iv got video after video of my dragons drinking , I genuinely believe they can tell if it’s fresh or not , that may be a factor 🤷🏻♂️ but I do water changes daily 🤷🏻♂️
@ellesreptiles9 ай бұрын
That's awesome! I get very passionate arguments on both sides so often. Mine used hers when she was a baby, but completely stopped as she got older. We tried everything, but she refuses to drink out of a water dish. Some beardies definitely use them! Some use them as a bathroom, and some ignore them completely. Just do what works! 🥰
