i feel that nail art deco like rhinestones or pearls adhere better if you add them right after the last layer of polish, while it's still wet. mine lasted for about two weeks. i used to dot a top coat like you did, but they tend to fall off after a couple of days.

I'm so hungry >_< Thanks everyone :) I filmed this at night so maybe the lighting washed the colors out. There seems to be some confusion on the colors but if you see other swatches of Sinful Easy Going and Nicole by OPI My Jay or the Highway you can see the colors in other lighting :D Thanks and have a beautiful day :]

Hi Michelle! If you take a look at my 4th of July video and Textured Chevron video.. that's pretty much how short my nails go. If I attempt to go any shorter I will cut into my nail beds on my fingers. Ouch! If you happen to have short nail beds, I suggest trying to grow your nails a few milimeters past the tips of your fingers. I know there are a few amazing nail artists out there with short nail beds but they grow it out long to hide it. Best of luck to you

I come from a science background and because of that I like formatting my videos into sections... It makes things easier to understand and I think that can be applied to any video. For me, at least, being consistent is key. Filming in natural daylight is best unless you fix up a lighting setup for night time. And I learned this the hard way... viewers like enthusiasm :) If you're filming yourself I guess you can apply that to your smile as well :D

Make sure your nails are free of any oils/lotions so swipe the nail area with remover before you start painting anything :) Apply a base coat (it'll protect your natural nails plus it will anchor your polish), let dry then apply your colors. Try to apply thin coats of color and let each layer dry completely. Top it off with one coat of topcoat :D Best of luck to you!
