Thank you so much for all your tips. Me and my husband just adopted a rescue who was severely attacked by cats for 18 hours straight with the last family. His tail feathers were ripped out and they had scabs on his shoulders of the wings and it caught on his head, he also has a scratch on the eyeball.. but he is so loving for everything he went through! He adores bath time very much especially since he didn't really have any for like weeks on end, thank you so much!

I always know when my bird wants to bathe because he hops in front of a ground fan (A shielded fan so he doesn't get hurt) and he tries to take a bath I'm the wind. I love watching birds enjoy taking a bath because they become fluffy, puffy, chickens!

Our European Society finches, Raven and Jadey, and Sheena, the canary look forward to their daily baths. We have a shallow container ( about 9 'x 5' and 2' deep ) which we fill with filtered water from our tap and this allows them to bathe whenever they want. I give them fresh water every day and it's a joy to see these happy birds splash then shake the water from their feathers. Sheena's bath is attached to the outside of her cage. I learnt too late that the horrible water in my area (Passaic, NJ) was bad for my birds so now I give them only filtered water for drinking and bathing. I thank Jehovah every day for my birdies.

Having a bird has always been my dream but my dad hates birds, so I have to wait a few years But these videos really help so that I’m not panicking when I finally do get a bird and I actually know what to do, also just a random compliment your very pretty and well I’m not the best with complimenting people but I hope that’s alright. Guys! For anyone who finds it odd that bluebell swims in lettuce, it's because in the wild, budgies bathe in wet grass! That could be a reason bluebell likes to bathe in wet lettuce!!!
