Put ur fingers close to the base of your lashes and close or eyes or look down. Hold for 10-15 secs. Yes! I'm trying castor oil for 100 days on my lashes and brows and am 3 weeks and have definitely noticed a difference. Also started taking diatomacious earth daily about 2 weeks ago and my nails are noticeably stronger! I figure if I already see it in my nails after 100 days I should definitely notice a difference in my hair. It's super cheap so I just thought I'd throw that out there! 😄

I use a drop per brow a drop per eye. I apply it to with my eye closed and put it at the base of the lash and go underneath still with my eye closed and brush up getting both the top and bottom at the same time. Then I take my finger and massage the oil across my lash line and slightly under my eye and the corner. Do it right before bed and don't put your glasses on after if u have them bc it'll get all over your lenses and it's a sticky mess lol. Search Jennifer Myers castor oil here on youtube and you'll see how and be super inspired to stick with it bc her results are amazing! 😊

Hello dear. Lashes look amazing. May I suggest something you could add to your lash regimen. I use a really good cold pressed organic castor oil on my lashes nightly before bed. I actually apply it to my brows as well. Over the years when thinner brows were the thing I over plucked to. So the castor oil has filled my brows back in and really thickened and lengthened my lashes. You could alternate between the serums and the oil. I also use a combination of natural oils and aloe vera for a weekly hair mask that thickens and helps your hair grow faster. It also makes your hair look and feel amazing. Last one, green coffee bean oil used for my face with the Jade stone for qua sha facials. Ancient Chinese secrets. I learn a lot from Laura of Shake up maykup on KZbin. Beauty secrets for the mature women. You look beautiful regardless. Ok dear Good luck with everything

Many lash growth serums have ingedients called prostaglandin analogues that can cause problems beyond the issue you mentioned.. It's very important to do research on the ingredients that lash and brow growth serums contain and avoid the ones with prostaglandins and synthetic prostaglandins. Check out an excellent video on this done by Dr. Sam Ellis.

I was waiting for the next good informative lash video I saw to share my lash and eyebrow journey and my holy grail lash serum that brought everything back to life. I am 54 and in my 20’s I had great brows and probably just average eyelashes, not big but not small to be honest. Everything stayed that way until I hit 40, then my brows started to become sparse and farther apart until they were at there worst ever which left me with a half a brow on one side and one eighth of a brow on the other, my eyelashes on top were now shorter and my lashes on the bottom were non-existent, so now at 45yo I’m completely devastated and didn’t have a clue what to do, I didn’t no what a eyebrow pencil was and didn’t no what a false eyelash looked like, I no, I no do you live in a cave or what. Anyway, this is when I first discovered Ulta and went in, thank god one of the girls in there took pity on me and introduced me to eyebrow pencils and brow gel, I was using a pencil from dollar general the first year then switched to bh cosmetics hd pencil, wow what a difference a good pencil can make. So at this time it was taking me close to 1-2 hours a day to do my brows and trying to get a dam false I lash on which I was never really able to do and if I did manage to get one on, because I have real hooded eyes they looked absolutely ridiculous and I would rip it right back off, so no false lashes for me and probably tried 20 different mascaras over many years. Fast forward to age 50 I started trying different lash and brow serums (expensive ones to inexpensive ones)to not much avail, I had some progress, my brows were now half of a brow one side and 3/4 on the other, still sparse and 11/2 inches apart, they stayed like this until January of this year. So here I am now 54 the year 2020 and my lash and brow journey is gearing up to go into overdrive and I don’t even know it. I was in Walmart one day and noticed that Equate (Walmart’s brand) had put out a lash enhancement serum a 3D vitarush peptide complex serum for lashes and brows, so I said what the hell plus it was 50% off so I paid 7 bucks for it. Wellllll......., let me tell you it was like finding the fountain of youth for lashes and brows, I started to notice a difference after one week, I would look in the mirror everyday and I thought I was imagining the hair growth that was going on because hair that had not been in areas of my brows since my 20’s was growing back. When I was applying the serum to my brows I made sure that I put the serum even on the bare skin where I wanted my brows to grow back especially in the front of the brows, it was at this time I went to every Walmart around me a bought every box of the serum I could find. It has now been 2 months of using this serum and I now have TWO full brows, my brows are 3/4 inch apart which is a game changer in youthful looking brows, it now takes me 5-10 minutes to fill in my beautiful, 20yr old looking brows, my eyelashes are the longest they have ever been and look like false eyelashes, no lie, they literally touch the lenses of my glasses, I don’t even where mascara because there crazy long. After reading the ingredients of what’s in this serum there are things like honeysuckle flower extract, camellia sinensis extract, soybean seed extract, niacinamide, all things good that help nourish, strengthen, volumize and grow lashes and brows. Listen, I’ve tried so many different serums over the years that didn’t work for me but this one did, I would definitely recommended and I hope it works for you. ❣️

Have you noticed any change in eye color? A lot of the lash serums have something in them that cause light colored eyes to turn brown. I use castor oil for my dry irritated eyes and the unexpected benefit has been thicker and much longer eye lashes. Due to health issues, my lashes had all fallen out. They were never spectacular even when I was younger but they were okay but now they're really nice!

Hi Carol Poulin, I just noticed your comment. That Walmart serum has been discontinued unfortunately, but I just starting using UKlash serum, it’s more expensive about $37.00 and it takes a couple of weeks to get but so far it is working great, I can see a difference after 2 weeks already, I also use it on my brows as well. I’m 57 now and my brows and lashes are the best I’ve seen them in decades. I look at that message I wrote above, omg what a novel, what was I thinking. Be careful with oils around your eyes, (castor oil, Vaseline), I went through a nightmare with Vaseline, I think I told that story in a brow video I watched. Good luck doll with whatever you choose to use.

ellebangs no . grande lash contains prostaglandins-lipids that contribute to the growth of lashes through hormone-like effects, simiar to Latisse. If you stop using it, your lashes return to original. The ingredients extend the growth phase of the eyelash cycle while you are using it. This is not a natural way to grow lashes but artiticial by use of prostaglandins. These serums were discovered after people with glaucoma and using Bimatoprost to reduce intraocular eye pressure also grew profuse lashes as a side effect. It was then marketed as Latisse and other companies made their own formulas using different versions of prostaglandins since Latisse had the rights to the form used in Bimatoprost. Please edit your title to maintain credibility as otherwise you are excellent on you tube. See 50 people have given a thumbs up on "you didn't grow them naturally" post by Aleja Franco down below and Chantal Forgues post below "Naturally? Mascara Serum? ..what a joke" as well with 33 agreements?

What I did was dangerous to regrow my lashes after years of stress and plucking them out with the root. I shaved the eyelids Atleast 2 and kept scratching the skin on my lids until I saw black dots. In a few weeks I had lashes I haven't seen since I was 10 years old. Don't do this if you don't want to wear falsies for a month. Simply keep your lash line clean and avoid make up if you can. Same applies for the brows. Exfoliate the brows with your scrub.

This is interesting-I'm 55 and like a more natural look, so I only use mascara on my upper lashes-not waterproof, ever and of course since I like it natural, never false lashes or glue. So, about 5 years ago, I noticed my lashes on the top were becoming more sparse and shorter than on the bottom...I attributed it to the mascara. Now, just recently I've noticed the top are still more sparse and shorter than the bottom, but I've noticed the bottom are starting to thin, but not lose length. I'm guessing it's partly to do with the mascara use (and yes, I'm faithful about washing it off) and partly age-related. I think it's time for a serum, lol!

I would like to know your opinion on eyelash tints (and/or perms) as an alternative to give your eyelashes a break from daily use of mascara. Additionally, do you think it's better to heat the curler and only do two clamps or clamp it more but not heated?

I used Grande Lash and it did give me a little lash growth, but it irritated my eyes and did leave a lightened line at the base of my lashes where applied. I have not used the product for a few months and still have the line.

Do you have an updated video? GrandeLash-MD serum contains a prostaglandin analogue which has the worst "permanent" side effects on eyes. 👀 It should never be used after all the horror stories patients come with. There's scientific evidence done with small trials as well. Hence, the video is a little misleading now that we are better informed 🤷🏽‍♂️

I have naturally REALLY long thick and full lashes to the point where when I put mascara I have to take some off because they touch my brows and the inside of my glasses. You cannot “naturally” grow your lashes your either born with it or your not. I do absolutely nothing with my lashes to make them long af I even sleep with mascara on (Ik bad I shouldn’t).

I am nearly 70 years old my lashes weren't great purchased a bottle of castor oil with vitamin C and it's worked so well in three weeks can see a difference came with brush and wand so inexpensive. When I checked out Ingredients in lash serums they all had castor oil in all of them and very they were very expensive. Castor oil is supposed to be good for hair loss as well and it's a natural product...

I used the RapidLash serum, I had used different lash serums before but none of them gave me the situation this one did. I used it the first night and it was all fine, till I got to the second night I woke up with a crusty eye and I thought it was just something normal because that happens. T’ill it started happening every night and my eye got pinker, I got eye discharge throughout the day, I could barely open my eye at night and it happened for a week straight. I stopped using it and 3 days later it stopped. Immediately threw out the serum, $50 down the drain.

I wish I could use non waterproof mascara but nothing will hold my lashes. Mine point almost down, even curling and using regular mascara will not hold them. I only wear mascara like once a week though so they seem to handle it okay.

I do have good lashes but I’d like to see them a little longer Just because it’s so pretty. Also I want to keep mine healthy. Your hair looks amazing I love it.

Latise is cheaper and a lot stronger. If you compare the active ingredients in the suggested lash serum and Latise eye drops you will see it’s the same. For many many years people where using the Latise eye drops for glaucoma and saw their lashes grew as a side effect, it as smart of the company suggested to make a specific product using the specific ingredient(s) in the medicine that makes the lashes grow. I have been using Latise for 3 years and one bottle at AU $50 will last me one year + I get a new bottle every year and end up throwing away a quarter of the bottle. It’s so good :) when I wear mascara I have been asked in the past a few time if I have lash extensions from people I hadn’t seen in 3+ months. It really does work :)

I used Revitalash years ago and loved it! It took about two months for my lashes to grow to their lushest, longest form. When I tried to go down to every other day (instead of daily use), my lashes reverted back to their natural thickness. I have light skin and eye color and noticed no darkening of either. It was in invented by a doctor for his wife when she lost her lashes from chemotherapy. Some proceeds from Revitalash are donated to breast cancer research. I like videos 10 minutes or less unless there are visuals or instructions!

I’ve been using Castor Oil organic cold pressed went from barely no lashes to full and longer lashes in less than 2 weeks ...it really works and it’s cheap.... I put it on using a q-tip instead of the brush that came with it...and every night in the beginning...I had caract surgery and had to stop but my lashes are still long and full...oh and on your Eye brows ...

I never knew curling after mascara is applied was a thing...I just never did it. I always used my fingers like you did. Yay! Finally a good habit! Lol my Cosmologist told me to exfoliate the eye lid and lashes. I use a aveenos daily brighten scrub..it has tiny round beads instead of anything sharp. I just be sure to rinse well... my sister noticed right away that it was working. I also use a clean mascara wand to get to the rit of the lashes and scrub.
