Maybe like talking about how to plan studying - timeline - how many days prior should you be doing what, that kinda thing.

@13:50 Yes, FM is designed to use a financial calculator. It's allowed and often easier. I brought 2 calculators, but I barely used the TI-30 multiview for FM.

Do you recommend printing the source material, or having a digital book? Thanks!
@Ellellevlog5 жыл бұрын
Depends on how you plan to study. I like having a printed copy because I like underlining and writing notes in the margins. This was convenient because I almost always studied at home. If I was always carrying my study material around, I probably would have preferred a digital copy

Apart from writing the key formulas per chapter, I love writing some summaries so that I can avoid bringing with me the heavy books and I usually find easier studying from them during the review phase. Unfortunately, it is really time consuming. Do you think it's better to focus just on the exercises and spend less time on the theory?
@Ellellevlog7 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you're studying for. The way my brain works, doing exercises will help me understand the theory. I need to put things in context before I can "get it".

How long have you taken for premilinary exams? and what manual did you use for each ? Thank you.

If I want to take SOA exam P, should I just focus on SOA problems? The site that I rely on provides questions for SOA and CAS.
