Wow you are the first person to say you like Chamber of Secrets more than Philosopher's Stone! I have heard a pretty large portion of people say Chamber of Secrets is their least favorite, but I absolutely loved it. I absolutely agree it is so much more creepier than the first Harry Potter book. And the mystery is more complicated. It's nice to see you appreciate the more dark atmosphere of the second book! :)

I have been meaning to read The Fixer buying it on amazon now. The author of the fixer has written may other books though if you liked her writing. She wrote a series called The Naturals which listened to the first book which was really good but there are 4 total. I couldn't find the rest on audio book but I just got a kindle so maybe I can get them on there. The Naturals is describes as The Mentalist meets Pretty Little Liars . It's about a girl who has special gifts at reading people and is recruited for a special branch of the FBI which included other young people with gifts to help stop a serial killer.

I still haven't brought myself to read the new SJM book. from what I see it is definitely not high fantasy. I managed to win a digital copy of Vita Nostra in a Goodreads giveaway. I still haven't read it yet but I think I will finally read it soon. I hadn't really years anyone talk about it but It seems really fascinating.
