thank you for the information. I have a deposit on the Radiance and want to see it before buying if possible. I have a Koala cabinet that fits my Solaris but after seeing this machine I believe will not be able to lower it at all. I will always be at the fullest height to sew and embroider. I’ll have to adjust my chair to be at a better position to sew. I am most excited after seeing more of the fantastic features. Thanks again.

Thank you Brad! Very informative! Great video! I still have so much to learn on my Solaris, but some of the new features on the Radiance are tempting! Definitely would love the stitch regulator. I was hoping Babylock would add a bobbin thread "detector/camera" so you could see how much was left before starting or continuing a design. Will look forward to more videos after you return from Babylock Tech! You do a great job of keeping us informed!

This is going to be an awesome machine! I am always mad that Brother and Babylock have an agreement so that only Brother is available in Europe. They are the same machines, but we have no right of choice… and I really hate the Disney in Brother… well … Thank you again for all the info, you really are the best!

The stitch regulator looks very close to the fabric. Will it work on thicker quilts? Can you check that out. You did a wonderful review on the Bernina 990. Any chance you might compare the 990 to the Radiance?

How deep do you need space to be when the largest hoop is on? Machine depth is one thing, but you don’t want the hoop slamming into the back wall

Hello Brad. Absolutely love watching your tutorials. I’ve noticed that there are 3 feet for the stitch regulator. Just wondering if they will be releasing a ruler foot, (for ruler work) at some point. It may be in the upgrade to kit. Would love to know if this is a possibility in the future. Brad, can you find out if the Radiance has an “access door” close to the take up lever that the USER can use to clear shredding or snarls. It would be great to know. The Bernina 990 has one….sew important!!! Thanks for the excellent video.

I know it’s the latest and greatest, but do you think they might issue a software upgrade and stitch regulator for the vision/solaris? Since these machines cost the same as some cars now, many of us either haven’t paid off the current model, or don’t care to buy a new machine… our hobbies are now becoming only rich people toys

I don't know. I certainly think it's something that "could" be easily done. Will they? No idea.

@@EllicottCitySewVac it would be nice and they'd be able to sell them. knowing the projector parts, they can even release a simple update for the bigger projector field.. marketing and CEOS like to withhold full functionality on parts precisely so they can "upgrade" things later... we shall see.

Brad have not been in your shop for the past year as we retired to Missouri. Unfortunately we do not have Babylock dealers near us . I am now 80 years of age and too old to put out a year of my SS into the new machine but I would like to know if you have any floor models or trade ins of the Solaris.
