Great analysis, as always, Daniel. You called it more than once. Speaking of which--well, THAT was a helluva big reveal at 53:57!! All I'll say is Oh. My. Gaaaaawd!!! But it throws me to have to say I'm really, really disappointed in Ellie. Right thereafter, at 55:17, all I can think of is way #17 how NOT to be supportive, especially for someone you supposedly care about. I mean, c'mon. I do love how the writers show Joel's and Ellie's maturing relationship though.
