Ellie's behaviour to Bri was regularly nasty in tone and substance. Note that she never spoke harshly to Bri when Aesha, Captain Sandy, or anyone else in authority was around. Like many bullies, she waited for an opportunity to isolate and then show her wrath and superior attitude. We never heard either Aesha or Captain Sandy say "Ellie is your supervisor, you must listen to what she says and do things the way she says to do them". We only heard that from Ellie when she was on a power trip. Bri asked her politely several times to leave her alone but then Ellie grabbed her arm and then demanded an apology. That was out of line and unacceptable behaviour in any type of workplace. I'm interested to see how Aesha's mandate for Ellie not to touch the clothing in the laundry goes. We will see how Bri does with it - I will not be at all surprised if it comes to light that Ellie was sabotaging Bri's laundry organization in an effort to make Bri look bad. I hope Bri shines in laundry and shows that she can handle it. Left on her own to serve guests and set the table etc - Ellie showed she couldn't handle all of the responsibilities. She is not nearly as experienced as she thinks she is. She needs a severe reprimand and some significant supervision to ensure she gets all the jobs done quickly and efficiently, including making cocktails properly.

Day one- The laundry room was used as the provision stockroom ( Bri had to make room to work) , the iron/ steamer machine was new and complicated and for some reason the plan to steam the guests’ entire (unmarked) wardrobes ended up getting washed, dried and ironed.😳

I felt bad for Bri only for the fact that she came on to a position in an entry level position where Aesha and Ellie have worked on yachts before and know what it's like to need the training and Bri wasn't given that training. Aesha even said that their department should have a minimum 4 stews so both of them should have set aside some time to properly train her. Put the drama to the side and make sure she succeeds at her job. If she succeeds then it shows that no matter what is going on personally between everyone, you can still show that when it comes to work, you can knock it out of the park. It's like a couple who gets married. They don't get married with the goal of getting divorced.

Season 9 afterthoughts... Love Gael, but she was immature in thinking a boat-mance was going to last Aesha did ok... BUT she needs to learn to manage her team and be fair YET firm. She could/should have dealt with Ellie & Bri when that mess first started... instead of noticing it & saying that she would deal with after the charter. In interviews, she STILL is faulting Bri (who, for sure is an inexperienced train wreck for EVERYTHING! Ian - Did TLC purposely cut out his scenes? Or was he sleeping the entire season? Because he definitely made sure to get his sleep! He was dull!!! Captain Sandy - When she first came on the show, everybody bashed her for micromanaging. This was one of those seasons (along with when she filled in for Captain Lee -the Fraser/Camille/Alissa) that I wish she would have stepped in and put the interior team in it's place because apparently Aesha (& Fraser) cannot mangage their teams.
