Bri was just green & Ellie was all ego. Aesha was trying to b a supportive, yet friendly, motivational boss, but Carrie is just what she needed to convince herself that she wasn't crazy. Her crew just wasn't the full package. She wasn't failing as a boss. They just never had the goods to begin with. Carrie was definitely the breath of fresh air the boat needed, Aesha especially.

At the beginning of the show after Aesha said something to her, she was walking off talking about the way Aesha was speaking to her. Something along the idea of speaking to a stew that way certainly isn't going to make a person want to do better. It wasn't even close to being the way she talked to Bri.

Glad Aesha did take the time to tell Ellie and Bri how they fell short. The two of them sucked up way too much time and energy with their little issues, and Aesha couldn’t discipline them properly when she had no one to rely on. By the end, they’d never been told how awful they were at their jobs, and I think both were *very* prepared to think they’d been just AHMAYZIIIING. Ellie was even fantasizing about leveraging her very awful 6-weeks turn as a 2nd stew into a chiefie position🙄 They needed that reality check before leaving.

All she had was the 2nd stew screaming she's the 2nd stew and outranks her. The 2nd stew physically putting her hands on her. Aesha didn't correct ellies power trip over bri, so bri probably thought it was Normal to go to the 2nd before "bothering" the 1st. And with how much ellie was allowed to boss her around, she probably did go see ellie first cause ellie was gonna be the one yelling at her if she didn't do something. Ellie treated her soooo badly and even during these clips it's like bri doesn't feel comfortable saying that. She wants to worry about looking mature and not really addressing what all ellie did. She started to brown nose ellie at the end of the season. She just seems like such a people pleaser who really tries to avoid conflict.

Bri is just a true follower and not a leader. There's nothing wrong with that, but it means she needs clear, straightforward direction. So when Aesha put her out on excursion without someone experienced to show her how it's done, or when she was basically trained by Ellie, it's no wonder she didn't ever learn the schmooze and hustle of a true yachtie stew.

Aesha needed to be more honest as a manager earlier in the season. I love her but she was so focused on getting things done she brushed things under the carpet. She needed to give feedback outside of the joe drama to Ellie much earlier so she didn't think she was doing a much better job than she was actually doing.

I think Aesha was stuck in a hard place. If she was too critical, those babies would have shut down even more and Aesha would be left running it alone. She did tell Ellie multiple times to work on her cocktails, tidiness, speed etc but the filming only showed it for mere seconds. I just think it was mean of production to put on Ellie and Bri when they knew they would be down a stew for most of the season.

We’ll probably never really know the actual extent of Aesha’s feedback and 1-1 sessions with the stews. Keep in mind how heavily edited the show is and those edits are going to stick to the theme and narrative desired by the producer and team. We’re seeing what they want us to see.

Aesha let Ellie grow out of control. This should have been adressed on episode one, not sixteen. Ellie genuinly isn’t aware that she’s overstepping. She’s just absolutely clueless about the jobs, responsibilities and authority of the second stew. Aesha needed to explain to her on charter two that the second stew isn’t a ‘leadership position’ as Ellie thinks. Funny thing is that Bri wasn’t even aware that the second stew was overstepping and was gaslighted into submission by Ellie.

Aesha was dealt a bad hand. She was only given two stews for a boat that should have had four total because of the cabin issue. Ellie is all about rank and not about helping out the third stew and making sure that not only she is on top of her work but the third is excelling as well. You want those entry levels to stay in the industry and when you have someone like Ellie jumping down your throat, you aren't going to want to come back to the job. Bri, in my opinion, needs to find another job. I really don't think she's cut out for this one or work on smaller yachts more before moving to the bigger ones. It's not Aesha's fault that Carrie's work ethic's are better than theirs. They couldn't get tables set up and Aesha had to get them set up in under 5 minutes and that was at the beginning of the season.

Yes. We all had the same amount of rest. However - most people slept through the night when the boat was quiet. I'd finish around 3-4 am for the most part and sleep when everyone was up. So I kept getting woken up. It takes a toll if you cannot get a full night of sleep for 6 weeks in a row.

Love Aesha but she is not a very good leader when it comes to direct, honest communication and solving interpersonal problems among her crew. She could have avoided all the drama if she just sat Ellie down and had an honest conversation w her earlier on so they’re both on the same page. Ellie is in the dark. Aesha is in the dark. Neither are truly communicating w each other on what the issue is and they both have issues w one another. Ellie feels discarded, unappreciated, taken for granted, and disrespected.
