Same here I was abused and raped as a child then so badly beaten by my sister I saved her when my Dsd went mental on her in Spain I thought I was going to die so ibsaid ibam going to see friends I called childline. They saved her not me. Until I was 11 years old doing my home work she wripped it up and so I pushed her and my Dad came in and said don't you dare push my daughter and he put my head through prvab wall the home was my mums safe place but he wormed his way in the artex cam off the plaster then I aw red brick then white I begged for my life then I could feel my self slipping away. I had my money ibhad left he said clean your welfare up and he walked off. I called for taxi then he called for police escort to my local hospital the nurse got me straight in but she couldn't stich my head so the Doctor daid keep trying I have scar above my head but my skull was bleeding bad she said all done you had 8 stitches in your head and one above your eye but your hair might not grow back again that upset me. So the police took me to a hotel where I tried to take my own life I have seen things that no 11 year old wants to see at that age when they don't understand like different men injecting this woman and them self's and taking in turn to have sex with her so I left and I begged for a room of my own he went up and kicked them out soon got a room of my own on medical growns now I am strong as ever I am now volunteer for M.I.N.D to bring back C.P.Ns for very vulnerable people and I am going to set up a Facebook group Talk And Chat. Please be strong ladies I suffered domestic violence and abuse and control 10 times as thought it was the norm its not. All because of my upbringing was mess full of rape and I had to listen to my mum being raped night after night I didnt know what it ment until the manager told me it's wrong he taught me everything I needed to know. So keep strong ladies every 1 second a lady dies at the hands of a man or husband I lost a friend he stabbed her to death it was over kill she left 5 kids behind now the mum as them so pleae be one step ahead of your man if he plays up shouting at you calling you names its wrong.

Ellie was my favorite singer back in 9th grade and this has always been one of my favorites of hers, although it is a cover.. Yes, no matter who sings this..it overcomes me with memories, some not always good but most so happy, the children I was blessed with are why ... from time I was a 17yr old married & a baby boy who made it ok, then a sweet baby girl, then I had few yrs later another baby boy.. all wonderful, but then a beautiful surprise happened, I was blessed to be given the most beautiful baby boy, unexpected for by the time he came I was a foster mom, never thought I'd be able to keep any of the lit ones that came & I pray when they left went to a better life..but this baby boy arrived, and the moment his eyes locked mine, I felt immediate love, my heart melted, and when they told us he could stay, be adopted.. I knew it was right, he brought so much to our life, his giggles and smile you couldn't ignore, I'd play, read stories, take walks on the beach, teach him my songs, he stayed by my side all the time, what a joy he was..and though sometimes by the end of the day with 2 teenagers, a preteen and a toddler I could be pretty tired, but after rocking him to sleep, laying him down,,seeing how peaceful he looked..I never felt more blessed.. there all grown now, all but the youngest with there own families, and the youngest gift..for he was a gift.. graduated last year..and is now a young man of 19.. but this song I've sent & resent to him in last couple years, to remind him how wonderful life is..because he came into mine.. I hope he hears it the way I do.. and knows how loved he is...( I love the original, buy this version is so beautiful & touches my heart with so many beautiful memories of being "mommy") I'm not that old, but my body says different and I know physically my days are shorter ,and so I cherish more, and try to live as hard as I can... I won't get into it all, but I've survived already 4 years longer than told.. and I'm blessed I was given this time, but now as I decline in my health.. I rush to listen to my passion, music..and my passion of family and most of all my passion of love..the most important...my children.. thanks for letting us all..me " to post a few words, maybe never read.. but here, a testimony of my thoughts.. if I can end this with a tip to all... never wait til tomorrow, tell those you love,.. you love them, forgive easy, , let go of past hurts, hold on to the good..and never pass on a chance to " make a memory for we none are guaranteed tomorrow so live each day like it's your last"...
