That arm snapping like a twig should be cause for concern but other than that, this has got to be one of the most impressive figure releases in recent memory. Wow, thanks for this review. This singlehandedly convinced me to buy this figure. I was on the edge before, as NECA will be making some soon and I am not really a 1/6th scale guy, but the sheer amount of detail on this figure is amazing! And the posability seems serviceable as well which is cool. Only problem with this line is that they didn't make any Abby figures. She is really important to the game, and no matter your opinion on her (I personally think she is a great character) it is kind of lame how so many people just want to ignore her existence when she is so important to the game.

The original The Last of Us is my favorite video game of all time. I've been trying to find some collectibles recently, but they've been hard to come by. However, I was able to buy the Joel and Ellie 1/9th scale statue set by Mamegyori a little over a month ago or so. They were expensive given their smaller scale. However, they were worth it, especially given the amount of details that Mamegyori managed to squeeze into them. Having said that, I was able to find this version on Ebay and it was sold by a U.S. seller and there was only figure left. I definitely got lucky. I should be getting next Tuesday, hopefully. In the meantime, I'm very impressed with what CC Toys have been to do when it comes to this particular figure of Ellie. I like both head sculpts (the regular version and the bloodied version). The skin has a nice texture. The hair is nicely sculpted. The clothing has some pretty good tailoring and stitch work, as well as a decent amount of grime, dirt and blood. The overall figure is nicely sculpted, painted and detailed. Ellie comes with a lot of accessories, which is much appreciated. The display stand is basic, but it gets the job done. However, as you've already mentioned, the figure has a couple of caveats. First, the neck is too short, which can be remedied by having Ellie wear the jacket. Second, articulation leaves a bit to be desired. The seamless left arm ended up breaking due to the poor articulation. A Phicen body would look great by the way. That's just an option. This is still a solid Ellie figure, despite some stumbles along the way. I definitely look forward to seeing the other figures that CC Toys can come up with moving forward. Otherwise, thanks once again Justin for another awesome video. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!

It’s not actually liquor in most Molotovs. It’s something like kerosene or gasoline. The in order for alcohol to be flammable has to to be above like 100% alcohol by volume or something. Most beers are around 5-8% While alcohol can be flammable at 50% it’s not going to give you a good flame.

Been waiting for this! All minor problems aside, im still very excited for it. I think it still looks wonderful, and i have i think a perfect spare phicen body to upgrade the figure with so im excited to see how that would turn out! Also would absolutely love to see a MTToys comparison. I initially went with CCtoys over it because their prototype headsculpt looked a little off compared to CCtoys' but i think they improved it since then. That final pose with Joel on the turntable was fire! Torn between that and the arrow one.

Hi Justin! I love The Last of Us and when the first edition of the game came out in 2012 I missed out on the figures. It’s now 2021, almost 9 years later and they have been offering these figures fro the second version of the game. I’ve never enjoyed playing a survival game so much. With that said, I love this version of Ellie and the version of Joel and the clickers. They are fantastic figures end so well made and look exactly like the video game version 2. Although I haven’t fully convinced myself to pick up the Ellie figure I definitely am considering getting Joel and the clickers. Thanks so much fir the video 💎😊

My cousin and I started playing through TLOU Part 2 together over the past week (he’s never played it) and this popped up on Mercari and I couldn’t resist. My birthday is this Saturday and the timing was too perfect for me to pass her up as a sort of gift to myself. She arrived today and I’m absolutely blown away by this figure. I’ve referenced your review several times just this week lol Seeing what happened to your seamless arm makes me nervous to pose the arms on mine, but I’ll be as careful as possible. I may end up switching to the jointed arms at some point, but we’ll see. Of all the 3rd party Ellies out there I think this is the best one. She looks so much better in person than even on video. did you have any trouble purchasing from the comic sanctorum link? everything is fine until i go to the payment options and it tells me its 1,280 hkd. which i assume would transfer over to usd for me, but it doesn't. it just transfers it from 1,280 hkd to 1,280 usd. i dont trust it.
