His book on Social Psych "The Social Animal" was part of our thought leadership trinity - Organizational Psych by Schein, Management of Organizational Behavior by Hersey Blanchard, and this seminal work.

Just because we desperately want something to be so, indeed FEEL it to be so, doesn't make it so. In the textbooks he has authored, he warns students against the "correlation = causation" fallacy - as one would expect from someone whose formative years were spent under the influence of the empiricist Leon Festinger. And yet...
