It's disheartening for me to watch. I've always enjoyed this actor, since Hard Candy. It may be hard to understand and take time getting used to saying the correct pronouns. However, all that matters is that he did exactly what needed to be done to be happy and comfortable in his body. Life is a journey and we all have no business worrying about journey's that aren't ours. We have our own lives to live and worry about. Why use our short time in this life on Earth to hate others and hate what we what we do not understand.

Taking Testosterone that will likely lead to osteoporosis, vaginal atrophy and greater risk of heart attack. Feeling like you have to remove healthy body parts? It's a terrible mental illness. i absolutely wish her happy but I can't help feeling that that really isn't going to cut it long term.

For all the people deliberately using Elliot's deadname (his name before transition), please stop. You're not doing anything but making fools of yourselves. He's legally changed his name to Elliot so that's what his name is. Why is it that when someone changes their name for a reason that has nothing to do with their gender, everyone immediately just accepts it, but when it's a trans person changing their name, so many still decide to use their old one. It just makes no sense to me. Even if you don't believe trans people are real or valid or whatever, you could at least use their real name.

I liked the character Vanya. Vanya was a powerful female character. Why is Hollywood catering to the actor? Actors act out characters. Eliot Page is an actor, therefore he should act out the character he auditioned for and received. The character Vanya should had not been changed because the actor's personal life changed. Even George Takei had something to say about the character Sulu being gay in the new Star Trek movies. He didn't agree with the change because Sulu was a straight man. He was a gay actor playing a straight character. I am going to try to finish this season. Not sure I will be happy by the end.
