I'm so excited for Elliot finally getting to live the boyhood he didn't get to fully experience for most of his life. I'm beaming for him! While his book was tough to digest at times (I felt a lot of second-hand-heartbreak). As a queer person the experiences he shares are very relatable. Larry Harnisch used to work at the LA times as a copy editor. Kind of like Luther Heggs in The Ghost and mr. Chicken. He didn't have much of a job but he thought he was a big shot. Why does she look so depressed? It's clear that she made a terrible mistake and now can't go back. She was so beautiful and talented. She had it all. And she threw it all away. She could have gone to a psychiatrist and do a psycho analysis and resolve her problems. Instead, she got involved in a cult that presented transition as the solution to all her problems. She did it and clearly, it didn't solve anything. She could use her platform to bring attention to the fact that the vast majority of people are not real trans and caution people against it. There are real transexuals and they should transition but they are exceptions.
