I've been loving these; I'm reminded of the estate home we lived in when I was a little girl in North Cornelly. This one is, perhaps, my favorite. Thank you for letting us 'shop' with you both. I particularly love the height of the ceilings and the bay window in the living/lounge room.

Few things I wished more UK homes have: 1. A bedroom on ground floor so when you get old you can stay on ground floor without going up and down the stairs. 2. A full bathroom downstairs for the same reason as #1. 3. Bath tub in the en suite of the master bedroom rather than the one for other rooms. 4. Longer awning at the front door useful especially during rainy days. 5. Higher ceiling, it feel claustrophobic 8-9 feet tall ceiling, 12-13 feet is common in Asian countries.

I like this one.. perfect for both of you as it has everything - except those hinges on the pantry doors, but I'm thinking that's a mistake. Only thing I'd change is the kitchen cupboard doors, I'm a Shaker style lover, plus add corner access pull-outs along with your suggestion on the clear glass laundry door. And Elliot you're right, a round dinning table would be best for the space. I've been enjoying the house tours, it's interesting to see how different they are to Aussie homes, the new builds now are ridiculously huge!

Cleaning three bathrooms and a loo is a lot of work. I'd prefer an en suite shower to the master and a family bath with seperate shower. Overall though, terrific that it has three double bedrooms and good size living room and kitchen dining family room space, plus seperate utility. £370k is a lot of money though for any family...property prices are ridiculous in general compared to peoples earnings!

This house is my favorite so far. The front room is ideal and the garden is so big. I wonder if you could change the kitchen cabinet hinges to what we in the U.S. call “European hinges” that fully open? Three bedroom and three full baths. It was a great property. We have just bought ours and get the keys mid May 2021...Redrow "lifestyle" is marketed for younger/older couples without kids hence the no family bathroom...so great for us Gays 😂

Why do they always put the fridge close to the oven, that's nonsense. It will heat it up ! Every kitchen builder will tell you. I would have put it at the opposite near the window replacing those cupboards. Otherwise, very nice house. Love your vids 👍

😂🤣 Surely you are joking when you say that the hallway is spacious and has loads of space to put jackets, coats and other things when it is clear that the lowest point for Redrow houses is precisely the entrance the lack of enough storage, most do not have the minimal space to put a small console in the entrance or a small seat and if you hang a coat rack on the wall and hang a couple of coats it already looks cluttered and messy. As soon as you open the front door, they have the peculiarity of having the stairs in front of you a few inches away. The Redrow houses have other good points such as high ground floor ceilings and large front windows. But without a doubt its hallways from many of those Redrow houses let them down. Of course, this would not be a problem if your budget is higher and you take an interest in those houses that the Redrow sales assistants call "Executive Houses" and pay for all the excessive extras that the show houses have and they offer you as an upgrade and that they have to be Paid along with your deposit if you want it, because if not, get used to the idea that if you don't pay any upgrade the house looks very, very far from the one you are seeing now. The shell of the house without upgrades is shockingly depressing. But you only see that when the excitement of receiving the keys from your new home has passed... Unfortunately.

We have viewed quite a few show homes from different developers over the last 3-4 months. I’d say by far Redrow reception hallways felt the most spacious. Of course as we view more homes our impressions may change.

What is the average size of a turkey that is cooked at Christmas in the UK? Sitting here in the US my first thought when looking at the size of the fridge and oven was that a 22 lb turkey isn't going to fit in those. Is that a consideration over there?

Like your style and sense of humour, friendly too and you both looked properly everywhere and gave so much detail. 👍 Only thing I would be grumbling about is the bathroom situation in the main bedroom.......a big shower with overhead shower head is great but, neither the bath or the shower had a hand held shower hose, disappointing. Something I would need but apart from that, nice house.

Sorry, no disrespect to your video, it’s a nice house. ceiling is low...bedroom is too small, no much area left for walking, table, chair, and the bed is smaller than normal double (can see from two pillow barely fit), my master bedroom can fit one big double, one small single (for my toddler), two wardrobe, one Chester of drawers, one office chairs and still can walk freely. I guess the master bedroom is only about 8 meter square (master bedroom should have at least 13-20 square meter) , kitchen is also very small for this price tag, big kitchen should have a kitchen island. It’s just a normal small kitchen...no much storage as well, I guess this house is less than 100 meter square. 3 bed house should have at least over 100 meter square floor plan to live comfortably..

Much as I like these lovely show homes, what irks me is how so many features are "extras". Even the bathrooms. Whatever the prices these developers are asking having working kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms finished to a standard that doesn't mean the buyer has to employ builders to complete the property. What are these developers actually selling? Let's be honest, are they just simply selling a shell that the buyer should complete to their own specifications? I'm beginning to understand why some people find new builds a rip off.
