in central illinois, it's supposed to drop to 39 degrees..( around 4 degrees C) so the brugmaneia had to come in. the other plants will be fine. the brugs are loaded with blooms....they will bloom inside....then I will cut them back and bring in the rest of the plants......winter is coming.

We had a fox in our north london garden happily trying to follow our labrador into the house for dinner one night. Next morning i was waiting for the train into london when i looked down the platform and saw a lovely “dog” waiting as well only to think no, his ears are too large. Man standing nearby saw the quizzical look on my face and gave a knowing smile-and thats when it occurred to me that it was an actual fox waiting for the train (or someone coming home to give him dinner?) there is a lady on utube who lives in england and feeds her local foxes and treats them when they are injured or unwell.

Matt I hope it's OK but I'd never made bread before but I watched a chap called John Kirkwood on you tube and he shows you breadmaking. Such great, easy, step by step breadmaking even I could make it. He shows you how to make your own live yeast. If I'm not supposed to mention another you tuber, please delete my comment.

I used to watch his channel but had to unsub because it's so annoying when these people are so obviously 'beggy'! Plugging his book every 2mins and going on about patreon 'benefits'.
