There is one thing I will argue, women do revert back into needing daddy just like men do for mommy. I would like to see Elliot talk more about the dynamics between a man and his daughter because those relationships can become just as incestuous .

Hey, I would highly recommend Travel Bum Productions KZbin channel. He basically talks about how self-esteem/confidence with women comes from the backbone of good emotions from the parents in the first 2 years of your life. That's why some guys don't need the validation from them. The really great technique he offers is a psychotherapy meditation called reparenting, where you imagine yourself with ideal parents through the different stages of dev. This changes your subconscious and over time, you become a person that can validate himself, without the need for any exterior source of validation.

In Islaam, a woman's father or her brother should be the one looking for a good husband for his daughter/sister. Even Christian men used to do this for their daughters. As a religious man who attends the House of God for worship, whether that is the masjid, church or temple, you would become aware of the other men you regularly see there & could get to know them. When your daughter has reached the age of marriage, you could let this be known to the men in the community & you would then select eligible candidates to meet your daughter, granddaughter, niece, or sister in your presence. So, the man who is responsible for a woman in his family (who has expressed that she is ready for marriage) should be the one questioning & testing men before allowing them to meet her. No random guys are allowed to just start looking at her, talking to her privately, & having an intimate relationship with her & then she goes to her family & says, "A man proposed to me & I said yes!" Righteous men go to a woman's father & ask if he can meet with her in the father's presence to get to know her & look at her to see if there is compatibility. Women's emotions can be easily manipulated. Just look at all the pick-up "artists" who are using women's emotions against them & toying with them just to have sex with them. Therefore, a responsible, God-fearing man looks out for the women in his care &, because he knows how other men can operate, HE is the one investigating their reputation, their character, their intentions, their financial stability, their family of origin, their religious commitment, their maturity etc. before letting the man have a chance to meet with her, & even then the meeting is supervised by him so the guy doesn't start asking any inappropriate questions or anything. As a man seeking to know/court a woman-hopefully for the purposes of marriage!-the pure thing to do is to get involved in your religion's organization & meet other men your age who may have sisters or older men who may have daughters your age. Express your desire to marry a religiously committed woman & that you want to go through her father for a sit-down meeting to see & get to know eligible women. It might seem "different" in these times, but a good, pious family would see this as a green flag, for sure, & this way of courtship needs to make a comeback. If a man went through my father first, it would blow my mind! I would be like, "Whoa, this guy's serious. And he seems like a gentleman. Classy." If meet with a woman & you're not attract physically, you can simply thank her & her father for the meeting & then respectfully say you're not sure that this is a compatible match & that you wish her the best & then continue your search. In Islaam, especially in countries with few Muslims, some brothers who happen to see a sister in public who is wearing the headscarf but her face is visible & they find her beautiful, will simply give her a slip of paper with their name & phone number & tell her, "Please give this to your wali to contact me." Or they will ask her for her wali's phone number so they can call him. The "wali" is her male guardian, which is her father, unless he is dead, in which case there is an order which determines which male relative in next in line to take over responsibility for her for matters such as this. Not sure if you're Christian, but a lot of Elliott's viewers are. If so, getting involved in a local religious organization would be an excellent way to go. But I would advise that it is for the actual purpose of worship & seeking out religious knowledge before anything, & then for establishing relationships with the other men in attendance, not just for going there to scope out the women. Ya gotta network, man! Another thing I've learned some Muslim men do, especially from men from Pakistan I've noticed, is that they actually create a marriage CV that has their picture & contact info & details about their family, education, work, etc. & they will give that to the woman's father for his consideration. Just know though that if you're approaching random women in the street who show themselves & their beauty openly to any man who happens to see them that they might have wildly different religious beliefs & whatnot...I mean, they might be Atheists, Satanists, Wiccans or a "spiritual but not religious" New Ager or something. So if you asked for her father's contact info, she would look at you like you're crazy & laugh at you, although, in reality, it is really they who are living in a weird way. But, anyways. If you want to meet pious, chaste, virtuous, humble, modest, religiously committed women, you're most likely going to first meet their male relative in your place of worship. If you come close to God, you will also develop strong bonds with other men who serve God, & you will naturally meet a woman who will be an ideal spouse. I feel really bad for a lot of Western Christians because the traditional way of courting women seems so foreign & difficult for them these days. I'm an American living in Egypt & even the Coptic Christians here marry in a similar way to the Muslims. It's so different from what I grew up seeing in my non-practicing Protestant Christian family & in my community whom definitely didn't truly have God at the center of their lives. Many Western Christians don't feel like they're a part of a community of other Christians, but rather everyone is totally isolated from each other. Even if they go to church on Sunday, they leave without having gotten to know anyone else there. My family, for example only ever went to church on Easter Sunday a couple of times & once on Mother's Day when I was a kid & never again after that. So a lot of Westerners who consider themselves Christians just resort to doing what even the Atheists do: they seek romantic & sexual partners just by gazing around looking for someone who physically attracts them & arouses their desire, & then they start talking to that person on the phone or online all the time, & they arrange to go out together & then eventually become intimate with each other before it is religiously lawful for them to do that & start living together before getting married. And some don't even ever get married to this person they're living with & sleeping with! I know so many American Christians who have Bible verses quoted on their Instagram or Facebook, but they have a baby with someone they're not married to, or have their toddler as the flower girl at their wedding years after the child was born out of wedlock. It's so sad. They've transgressed the limits of their Lord & don't even seem to understand that or feel concerned about it. May God make easy for us the finding of righteous spouses & help us to obey Him & worship Him as He deserves to be worshipped. Amen.

"˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things, such as deliberately gazing at unrelated women to whom they are not married, thereby causing them to feel sexual desire for them) and guard their chastity (from committing illegal sexual acts like premarital sex or adultery). That is purer for them. Surely Allaah is All-Aware of what they do. "And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things, such as deliberately gazing at unrelated men to whom they are not married, thereby causing them to feel sexual desire for them) and guard their chastity (from committing illegal sexual acts like premarital sex or adultery), and not to reveal their adornment [i.e., beauty] except what is (necessarily) apparent [like one or both eyes out of necessity to see the way, or the outer palms of their hands or outer garments like their loose outer dress, head-cover, face veil or gloves, as they cannot possibly conceal those things]. "Let them draw their veils over their Juyûbihinna (i.e. their heads, faces, necks, bosoms & bodies), and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women(i.e. their sisters in Islaam), those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession [i.e., female servants], old male servants who lack physical desire, or small children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness [i.e., little boys who do not yet feel arousal when looking at the shape of a woman's body or by seeing her face adorned with makeup, or seeing her jewelry or her hair, or smelling her perfume, etc.] "And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment [i.e., they should not purposely walk in such a way as to make strange men hear the jingling sounds made by their ankle bracelets & other jewelry, thereby causing some men to become curious about what beautiful things she is wearing under her outer garments]. "Turn to Allaah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful." quran {dot} com/24?startingVerse=30 The Qur'aan, chapter 24, verses 30-31 The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him, said, "Whenever a man is alone with a woman, the Devil makes a third.” sunnah {dot} com/mishkat:3118 sunnah {dot} com/tirmidhi:2165 This does not apply to a man with his wife or his mother or daughter or any other female blood relative, but rather between an unrelated & unmarried man & woman. The Devil will attempt to make them lust after each other so that they will commit the sin of having sexual intercourse out of wedlock. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him, said, "The woman advances and retires in the shape of a devil, so when one of you sees a woman, he should come to his wife, for that will repel what he feels in his heart." sunnah {dot} com/muslim:1403a This in no way implies that women are inherently evil, but rather that Satan tries to inspire women to beautify themselves before going out in public & passing by men, arousing sexual desire in them. It may also be the case that a woman is modestly dressed but the wind blows her clothing in such a way that the shape of her very curvy body becomes visible & a man sees that accidently & feels desire. So, in such a case, a married man should fulfill his desire with his own wife so that the feeling goes away & Satan is unable to incite him to fulfill that desire with the strange woman he saw in public. So, basically, avoid your triggers. It's a two-way street: Women should be mindful of the way they dress & act in front of strange men, & men should avoid looking at strange women to the best of their ability, & men who accidentally see what makes them feel desire should find satisfaction with their own wife. The best way to avoid falling into sin is to get married in front of God/Allaah, even if it is just the religious ceremony & never filed with the government of the land you live in & rather a contract before God by both parties & the woman's father or uncle or brother or other believing male family member.
