Having managed to escape the gravitational pull of Thetis, our astronaut hurdles towards Earth. The experience of shooting between objects in space oscillates between serene and turbulent, continually in a stage of change due to the shifting magnetic pulls operating on the expanse. Navigating that playing field successfully, the traveler is drawn into Earth’s orbit and down towards the planet’s surface.

This is fantastic and I struggle to put into words why. It seems like a goal of the song is to play to the strong suits of the theremin and that dialogue with the instrument has altered the frame the music exists in since it's just different enough from most other instruments. It's a little avant-garde so the exact idea there is still fuzzy for me but I thoroughly enjoyed this either way

Since the days of "Good Vibrations" I was never able to remember the name of this instrument. It was always that "weird thing the Beach Boys used." That's until I discovered Carolina Eyck. Since that day "Theremin" is as much a part of my vocabulary as Cello or Guitar. I believe that's because prior to her music, I never heard anything that I felt contained musical relevance, it was just a weird sound effect for B movies. She has moved it into an art form.
