I still think action cams pull first place in comparison to the O4. Flexibility in the files & recording - whether it be the Action 4, GoPro, or Ace Pro. Action cameras fell SHORT this last release cycle. Innovation in the space needs to happen if they want to keep up. I'm shocked DJI didn't go crazy with a 1" sensor somehow on the Osmo to maintain two "needs" being met in the market of FPV instead of creating a full-replacement.

I mean, it's not gopro quality, especially when you pause the video, but that's still to be expected. Highlights are often blown, distortion correction needs to work hard, inbuilt sharpening is not ideal... quality in harsh lighting seems barely usable, especially when compared to the shot from slr camera at 0:41

It already passed gopro bro 👌😂 better colours, better Dynamic Range. Btw every action cam with wide angle has distortion, blown highlights and a sharp image but that looks good on instagram and more than enough for a lot of people. You need to try it you will see how good it is 😇👌

I am with you sometimes its not nice but it cannot always be cenetered. The more I try to master cinematography I learn imperfect frames have to exist to make the perfect ones even better. Sometimes having a subject to leave frame and reappear makes it more dynamic for the viewer too. Ofc as pilot we try to keep the subject centered, sometimes I fail, but I took it as it makes it human 😀
